Have now read two very consequential orders from a specific SC bench that have *every* hallmark of AI-writing, heh. "Not x, but y" in every second sentence. "Neither a, nor b," where both "a" and "b" are highly manicured expressions you just won't use in a normal sentence. Etc.

🧵 We’re scaling Circle Partners — and hiring senior leaders for both our verticals. Along with Disputes, we’ve spent the last while building our Corporate practice vertical in parallel — and we’re now looking for a senior lawyer to lead each. (circlepartners.in)

@shashank109 Yes @shashank109 it is the pouring of their hearts that make the built structures works of art.. and for that matter any act of humankind to attain the status of art requires deeper involvement…

Structures built in the old days had such life and character to them. The masons poured their art and heart in the structure and even a hundred years later, it shows. What could've been just been two pillars, were adorned with a Mehrab and Jaali and the result is spectacular. ❤️

The end of an era of integrity in public life: With the passing away of Major General Shri Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri Ji this morning, an era of integrity in public life comes to an end. Khanduri Sir lived a life defined by honesty, discipline and courage; dedicating himself wholeheartedly to serving both the nation and the people of Uttarakhand. His public spirited decision-making was crystal clear and once convinced that something served the larger interest of the state and its people, he pursued it with unwavering conviction. Most significantly, unlike most politicians of today who are deeply immersed in massive business and commercial interests of khanan (mining), liquor, real estate and commission baji; Khanduri Sir maintained exemplary personal integrity and simplicity throughout his public life. In many ways, he represented a forgotten generation of public leaders for whom service and principles mattered far above personal gain. On a personal note, I was extremely fortunate to have had his blessings on several occasions. I was equally fortunate to lead the free 108 emergency services when they started in Uttarakhand in 2008. I was, and remain convinced that if any there was any other Chief Minister other than Major General Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri Ji, the 108 services would not have started here. It was a purely, free humane initiative and since it was without any personal gains, why would any Chief Minister stick his neck out and start a service of this nature? I close by offering my deepest condolences to the family, to the erstwhile colleagues and party members of Shri Khanduri Ji and to his legion of admirers in Uttarakhand and elsewhere. May you be at peace Sir; knowing fully well that you have carved a unique and colossal niche for yourself. Uttarakhand will forever remember you kindly and gently, with the respect that you so richly and rightfully deserve. Rest in peace Sir, Jai Hind🙏

No one, absolutely no one should be called a cockroach in a civilized society. Use of such terminology for a group of people is a precursor to their eventual dehumanisation.
