@shasto I've seen too many people wait too long. My dad retired at 58 and never regretted it. My sympathies on your father's rapid decline.

My dad is the hardest working person I've ever met. He had to retire on disability two years ago at age 63 and is declining rapidly. This has completely changed my view on work. Take your vacations now. Explore the world and never wait for retirement. You might not reach it.
