The context of how this Sixers vs Knicks series ends matters But this Sixers season was absolutely a success. This wasn’t a year where they were all in to win a championship. It was a year to see what the Maxey/Edgecombe backcourt looks like and the team cut costs at the deadline But they also beat a Celtics team that was a -900 favorite for the first time in the Embiid era and became the 14th team in NBA history to come back from 3-1 This was a season that lacked expectations and they have been worth buying into

76ers gonna need @JoelEmbiid to have a good series and learn from last time. Gotta come up more to the level of the screen and have weakside pinch in off non shooters and rebound the ball to end possessions. Also cant be turning over the ball giving up easy points in transition

@Sean_Barnard1 This was never the series that would've tested him especially once Franz went down because he'd have to guard 1 of Paolo or Franz Hes notorious for beating up on bad teams. Its the teams that are better and have higher ceilings where you ask for more and he disappears

I don’t have the same level of vitriol for Tobias Harris as some Sixers fans. Largely think the biggest issues was him being asked to be something he never was But it is maddening that he has played so much better in this Pistons series than any postseason with the Sixers

@Tjonesonthenba The thing i hate most about 3s vs 2s is people forget that you can also have a 3pt play by getting a bucket + the foul for an AND1. And embiid is a great FT shooter

That can be your death lineup but you can’t do that as a primary lineup. Embiid would have your two best players in foul trouble within six minutes
