@9ersmuse He made 3 straight pro bowls with the niners back when the game’s best QBs still played in it before Brady and Rodgers ruined it. He was also the last Tampa Bay QB to make the playoffs or pro bowl or playoffs for 14 years til Brady showed up in 2011. He as also an ELITE scrambler

@9ersmuse Being right after 20 straight years of Montana and Young made him EXTREMELY underrated. He took 3 different franchises to the playoffs and didn’t even play in NFL til he was 30. Undrafted, played in the CFL, then became a 4x pro bowler.

@PTujo @ESPNInsights @ESPNNBA @Vivek Maybe he should’ve done a better job with SAC and he wouldn’t have been fired. He completely lost the locker room lol. Also the Knicks had the easiest path in tbe playoffs for both conferences since 1990. Thibs would’ve definitely taken the Knicks to the finals with this path lol
Josh Dubow@JoshDubowAP

Knicks will be 1st team seeded 3rd or lower w/ home-court advantage in 1st 3 rounds of playoffs since the 1990 Blazers. Portland was seeded 3rd and beat No. 6 Mavs in round 1, No. 2 Spurs in round 2 (had home court based on better record) and No. 5 Suns in conference final

Mike Brown is back in the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007 — the 19-year gap is the longest by a coach in league history. His 11-game playoff win streak is also the longest by a head coach in his first season with a team.

@KalshiFB They got scrawny little Ed Reed, who was never known for hard hitting ever, in the same tier as Patrick Willis, Mike Singletary and his psycho eyes/stare, and Larry Allen who won NFL’s strongest man competition multiple times and is arguably the best Guard of all time… WTF 😂

@ibrahimcallwood @UofBasketball @KalshiSports @KalshiHoops I remember it being a perception thing cuz Peja was a 2nd option while Chris Webber was the superstar. TD and KG were obviously superstars and the franchise guy. When it’s that close between 3 guys for only 2 spots, the league tends to leave the 2nd option star off the 1st team.

@ibrahimcallwood @UofBasketball @KalshiSports @KalshiHoops Brother they gave Deandre Jordan an all nba 1st team nod because of position. And they used to go by position back during Peja’s time too. They made an exception for 2004 by putting two PFs and two SG’s with no PG or SF. 2004 was a unique exception at the time. He was robbed.

@spedracer2 @UofBasketball @KalshiSports @KalshiHoops That’s why no PGs and no SFs were on that all-nba team right? If it were by position, why were there two PF’s and two SG’s and no SF or PG? The funny thing is you’re right, back then it WAS position-based. And that’s why I’ve wondered about that 04 team for 20 years lol

@kenshin3265 @lastdanceszn Yeah the Loveland add-on at the end confirmed he’s ragebaiting again lol. The funny thing is fans from all these other teams are seeing his tweet and not knowing he’s a Niner fan rage baiter and will think “oh a Niner fan who actually admits this about Kittle” 🤣🤣🤣

@FastbreakHoops5 This game was on Xmas day 2004 and was the first time shaq played against the lakers after being traded away from LA. He let his 17 year old replacement, aka new lakers center Andrew Bynum, embarrass him in the post and then he showed the whole country how it got under his skin.

@JWalizerJr @AlSacco49 Also I know it’ll go into so much stuff from behind the scenes that the majority of fans have no clue about yet always think they know what they’re talking about regarding the Nolan singletary years lol. They have no clue how bad shit really was. Maybe I’ll read it @mattbarrows

@PolymarketHoops I mean, the very next year in the last minute of game 7 of the finals, Tyrone Lue drew up an iso play for Kyrie instead of LeBron…. But Haywood is right in this case - you don’t draw up a play for fucking JR Smith over lebron (even tho JR was a better shooter than him lol)

Brendan Haywood says LeBron erased David Blatt’s play that ended up becoming the infamous game-winner he hit against the Bulls. “It was the way he ran practice. He was kind of scared to coach LeBron. Remember the shot that LeBron hit in Chicago? David Blatt drew the play up for JR Smith. He had the upmost confidence in JR, but we all thought the play was going to LeBron. He was like ‘okay, yeah, JR’ and Bron grabbed the clipboard and said ‘absolutely not’ and erased the coach’s play and called his own play… and that’s the iconic shot he hit over Jimmy Butler. You’re not supposed to draw up a play for anybody except LeBron James in that situation.” (via @tfupodcast_xx)
