“marammat chal rahi hai zindagi ki, jaldi uthenge, toofan le kar.”

This poem is tinged with sadness, but to me it describes work we have to do in all relationships to recreate new meaning with friends, siblings, parents and partners as they change, we change, our locations change and time marches on.

The poem is titled “Muamma” meaning “Crossword puzzle” and by @Javedakhtarjadu

We’re letters that met one day. A word was created, we acquired meaning. Who knows what happened but now you’re a letter in a box, so am I, separated by empty boxes of time. We can make a word & acquire meaning again but we’ll have to think: what do we fill in the empty boxes?
