🚨 🇺🇸JUST IN: Pete Hegseth canceled a troop deployment to Poland that was already happening.
The unit had cased their colors. The advance team was already on the ground.
The equipment was already there.
Then he pulled the plug. And he didn’t tell Congress. He didn’t tell Poland. The four-star general in charge of Europe pushed back. Hegseth did it anyway.
This came out Friday at a House hearing. The Republican chairman, Mike Rogers, told the Army Secretary to his face:
“We’re not happy. There’s been no statutory consultation with us.”
Rep. Don Bacon — also a Republican, a retired Air Force general — went sharper:
“Reprehensible. An embarrassment to our country.”
The Pentagon’s spokesman called the cancellation “not a last-minute decision.” The Army Secretary, under oath that same morning, said it happened “a couple days ago.”
Both can’t be true.
This is the third time in seven months Hegseth has pulled US troops from a NATO ally without telling Congress. Romania last fall. Germany two weeks ago. Poland this week.
Russia is watching. Poland got a phone call.

Goodnight 🌙
The Epstein Files are clear that Trump raped a 13 year old, and girls were brought to his Mar-a-Lago place for "calendar girl" parties.
Then they were abused, checked for "tightness" by touching them, and sold to rich men.
One account says a girl was 13 when Trump forced oral sex and more.
PEDOPHILE!!!!

The careless decision to reduce our force posture in Europe, along with moves by Pete Hegseth and his political henchmen to force out some of our finest general officers is amateur hour at best and deadly at worst.
Hegseth continues to surprise and disrespect our greatest allies and some of our best military professionals with impulsive decisions not grounded in reality or good judgment. If the rumors are true that Hegseth is trying to sideline General Chris Donahue, one of our nation’s finest warfighters, by downgrading U.S. Army Europe-Africa to a 3-star command, he is taking another step down a dangerous path. A step that is not in the best interests of our nation or our servicemembers.
General Donahue has dedicated his entire career to upholding the high standards and warrior ethos that Hegseth claims he is restoring to our ranks. Gen. Donahue has led Soldiers at all levels in Airborne (including Ft. Bragg’s 82nd) and Mechanized units, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and our most prestigious special operation units. He deployed over 20 times in support of Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, New Dawn, Inherent Resolve, Atlantic Resolve, Freedom’s Sentinel, European Assure, Deter and Reinforce, and in support of the Sudan crisis.
Hegseth would do well to surround himself with more patriots like General Donahue and to get his henchmen, who are not qualified to carry Donahue's bag, out of the Pentagon. Keep your word, Mr. Secretary: choose meritocracy over your mediocre yes-men.

I can no longer endure this… I am physically and emotionally exhausted from the constant fear and the shadow of death that surrounds us in Gaza. We are not truly living — we are only waiting for the next tragedy.
My children have lost their childhood. Their eyes are filled with fear instead of joy, and their hearts can no longer bear this daily terror. How can they sleep in tents that offer no protection from heat, cold, or fear, not knowing if they will wake up alive?
We have no home, no safety, no medicine, and no future. Every day is a struggle just to survive, but exhaustion and fear have broken us.
We are human beings, not numbers in the news. Please save us from this suffering. Help me and my family leave Gaza. We want nothing but a safe place to live with dignity, far from bombing and fear.
Gaza is bleeding… and its people are silently crying for help.

In the name of making America safer, Trump has made every American weaker.
We’ve depleted half of most missile stockpiles in Iran.
Trump’s own CIA says Iran can withstand this blockade for months longer.
If Trump does strike Iran, they’ll torch all energy infrastructure in a final salvo.
Trump is checkmated. The American people are paying the price. Trump doesn’t care.

You may ask: where are all the factories that supposedly moved back to the U.S.? Where are the jobs from those tariffs we paid for? And where’s the $18 trillion he keeps bragging about?
Reality: production mostly shifted from China to other low-wage countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, and India, not back to American soil.
A year after his so-called "Liberation Day" tariffs, U.S. manufacturing jobs are down, not up. Roughly 19,000 total jobs lost and tens of thousands of factory jobs gone.
And that "$18 trillion pouring into America"? There’s no evidence for it. ZERO. He’s counting vague, unenforceable "commitments," not real, trackable investment. In other words, nonsense.
The only thing consistently growing is his lies and his wealth.

If you wanted to spend so much time renovating monuments and pools, and building ballrooms and statues, you should have stayed in the private sector as a developer.
But then again, I guess it's easier to grift from the Oval Office, getting kickbacks for NO-BID contracts to your friends, like this project.

I'm no socialist, but Elon Musk's post this morning made my blood boil.
I cannot believe we're still pretending unfettered capitalism is some sacred cow. The vital necessity of strong social programs cannot be overstated, full stop. A genuinely progressive, tiered tax system is basic justice.
It used to twist my stomach watching billionaires get dragged for their success. But when these entitled pricks turned around and sold their souls to a fascist authoritarian regime out of nothing but bottomless avarice and greed, any sympathy I had died.
Not all billionaires are monsters, but the greedy, soulless fucks who backed this authoritarian Trump regime have made their true priorities crystal clear.
These groups don't seem to value democracy. They favor plutocracy — where wealth buys direct access to power and bends the state to their whims.
History is clear: authoritarianism rarely ends well for those who enable it. And this time, the consequences may be even more severe. They are playing with fire, and the stability they rely on is at risk.
Disgusting. Utterly revolting.

APPLEBAUM: United States under this administration is no longer interested in leading democratic coalitions against Russia or anyone else.
President Trump has begun to align US foreign and domestic policies with values and practices of the autocratic world.
Democracy is no longer at center of United States foreign policy or American identity.
President and his administration attempted to strip funding from USAID or Radio Free Europe, American institutions that once promoted democracy around the world.
Trump verbally attacked Canada, European Union, America's Asian partners, placing inexplicably high tariffs on their goods.
Trump shouted at Ukrainian president in Oval Office, threatened to annex Greenland by force, claimed that EU was created to "screw US," and echoed Putin in calling NATO paper tiger.
Trump negotiated with Russia not to bring just peace to Ukraine or security to Europe, but also in order to help US businesses profit from lifting of Russian sanctions.
