@bill_kerrrrr @k_mahlburg It was obviously an absurd reaction in March 2020. Anyone who thinks otherwise lacks basic critical thinking skills.

To all my fellow Australians who are upset about the prospect of a $40 cap on fuel, paused waste services, and work from home mandates... Now would be a good time to reconsider your support for the same kind of lunacy during Covid.

Australia has taken in a record number of migrants in the past year, despite the government's promise to reduce the figures. This is so intentional, it’s crazy. These politicians are compromised and working towards the destruction of our countries. They’re laughing at us as they sell us out.

@MaxLonged @ausbtcclub So are people forced onto welfare or are people choosing to go on welfare? Your two replies are at odds with each other

You don’t get it do you. That’s what is happening all around Australia. I spoke to someone yesterday that is 60, working part time and struggling. Their child needs them to help with a newborn so they can go back to work. Instead of being able to cut her hours to look after the baby, and get paid an allowance to cover her, the government will only pay her an allowance if she leaves her job and goes on welfare. So how is that a productive economy when people are forced to go on welfare when many want to work. The government doesn’t care about you when they can import a replacement population that are happy with lower living standards.

Australia to Ukraine war: $1.7 billion Australia to Israel war: $130 million NDIS in 2026: $49.8 billion Australians pay for Aboriginal/First Nations programs: $5.3 billion Australians pay for welfare: ~$290 billion. Australians pay for international clean energy agenda: $3.9 billion Over $300 billion funding these schemes in 12 months and the government won't drop the fuel excise tax which sits at around 52% per litre... Farmers copping it Middle class copping it Business owners copping it Everyone should just take the dole, sit inside, watch Seinfeld and eat salt n vinegar chips....

We joke about it but the sad part is millions are on welfare, enjoying time with their families at home, while the average Aussie slaves away and for what? To get taxed to death on their income? To lose their right to a pension and get their wealth eaten by nursing homes? And if by some miracle anything is left for the kids, to tax that as well.

Most people struggle to understand supply and demand. The first image is a Domain report with my notes added over it, while the second shows the rental prices I see for my local suburb when I log in to realestatecomau. Think of Australia like a tiny tropical island with a fixed number of coconuts on the trees. Supply is limited. Bringing in 500,000 people a year does not create more coconuts; it just creates more demand for them. The only people who say mass immigration is "good for the economy" are the ones selling the coconuts. That is a very small part of the economy making money, not the public as a whole. You are NOT part of that "economy". The only economy where everyone has a fairer chance is an "organic economy", meaning no mass immigration. Australia has a limited amount of land with good rainfall, which means there is also a limited amount of trees, grass, and naturally livable land. We are lowering the general quality of life just to make a small wealthy group richer at everyone else's expense.

The Labor Party and the Liberals combined to add 10% to the population of Australia in just 5 years. Here is what this genius economic policy did to housing costs in my city of Brisbane: - The four-bedroom house I rent with room mates costs $900 a week, up from $500 a week in 2020. So we pay $20,800 a year extra for the exact same house. - The house would have sold for $700,000 in 2020. It’s now worth $1.3 million despite no material changes to the house. - You could have bought the house for a 10% deposit of $70,000 back in 2020 and paid $2,500 a month in mortgage repayments. - Now you need to save $130,000 to make a 10% deposit and need to pay $7,015 a month in mortgage repayments. - Current rent is $3,600 a month. The mortgage would be $7,015 a month. It is literally cheaper to rent forever than to take on 30 years of debt to own the same property. - When I tried to rent this property I had to first apply for 70 different places and was rejected from almost every single one. I would line up for a house inspection with hundreds of other people, most of whom arrived in the country extremely recently. - Australia has the second highest dwelling construction rate in the OECD. Yet we still have a housing crisis. Ghee, I wonder why people are mad. Must be online bots and discontinuation mate.

People like Alexander Downer would have us believe that voting for @OneNationAus is a “protest vote.” I would call it a vote for change. We’ve already got: - sky-high energy prices - record debt - crushing taxes - high Immigration - low housing availability And they want you to believe that’s real stability? The risk isn’t voting differently. It’s voting the same… and then expecting any kind of relief.

AUSSIES, WAKE UP! Your hard-earned tax dollars are being pissed away on that pathetic smoke ceremony to welcome this globalist puppet Ursula von der Leyen! We don’t want you here – not now, not ever! We sure don’t want you to dump your third-world immigrants on our shores after you handed them EU passports like cheap lollies! You and your gang of spineless traitors have destroyed Europe – turned it into a violent, broke, unrecognisable mess! SHAME ON YOU, YOU DISGRACEFUL SELL-OUTS!
Ursula von der Leyen@vonderleyen

🇦🇺 Honoured to be welcomed to Australia by the Governor-General, H.E. Sam Mostyn. I’m here to celebrate the long-standing friendship between Europe and Australia, and this is the most perfect start to this visit.

The Australian Labor Party's economic policies have made my life significantly harder as a young man. Their migration surge basically raised my rent in Brisbane by 50% and made it approximately 2 times harder for me to get a down payment on a house. We have the second highest dwelling construction rate in the OECD, but we added nearly 10% to the total Australian population in just 5 years. It produced a massive housing crisis. Here are the concrete effects: I pay about $900 a week in rent: $3,600 a month. Back in 2020 the exact house I live in would have rented for approximately $500 a week: $2,000 a month. It's the exact same house, just twice as expensive. And it gets even worse if you were to consider trying to buy a house. Back in 2020 the house I'm renting would have been valued at $700,000. If you saved up $70,000 to put down a 10% home deposit in 2020, you would pay $2500 a month in mortgage repayments. Now the same house is valued at approximately $1.3 million. If I could somehow save $130,000 to put down a 10% home deposit on the same house today, I would be forced to pay $7,015 a month in mortgage repayments. My rent is $3,600 a month, so it wouldn’t even be worth it to buy the house and pay $7,000 a month to the bank to finance 30 years of debt slavery. This is a fucking broken system. Nobody can start a family because people can barely afford to house themselves. Stupid tax concessions for investment properties and a culture of useless unproductive speculation is part of the problem, but Labor also helped break the system by fucking SURGING demand - adding 10% to the population of Australia in less than 5 years. It’s literally insane. Why would any country do this to itself? Labor Party economic policy personally made my life SO MUCH HARDER.

@KromeSid @realRick_AUS By immigrant do you mean "overseas born"? Because basically all the "immigrants" in social housing are here as permanent residents Also dont forget over 200k people that are aussie born are in NSW social housing already. Immigrants are NOT taking up the space you think they are

No public housing for immigrants while Aussies are looking for homes. We don't track this metric (I wonder why), but you can get data on NSW 2024, 34,000 immigrants are in public housing. Its a disgrace, nobody coming into this country should get public housing before born and bred Australians.
