@DougieSal Sad,racing is done for the most part.Why Governor Hochul signed off on a zillion dollar new Belmont Park is the biggest waste of money of all time!!The only life in racing is up at Saratoga for 40 days and the Belmont Stakes Day Card.

Some of these cards at places today are just brutal. Even in New York...you've got an 8 race card with field sizes of 6, 5, 6, 6, 7, 5, 5, and 6. It's a product of the diminishing Foal Crops and horses being given so much time in-between starts. It's unplayable in CAW era.

I’ve been following Horse Racing religiously for over 40 years. This is by far the bleakest period of horse racing in my time following it. With all that’s wrong, it’s amazing to me how passionate fans still are and how badly they still want it to succeed. We deserve BETTER!
