Diarrhea is a very personal symptom. Vomit is disgusting. Losing control of your bladder is embarrassing. Constipation is hard. But diarrhea? It's personal. #LupusSymptoms

At least once a year, sometimes twice. Mr. Finnigan brings home a little kitten. He will clean her or show her how to. Point out the litter box, access window, food and water bowls etc etc. The introduction requires several tries but it happens. Mr. Finnigan is neutered.

Lots of work goes into trying to build communities for people on here since situashen kwa ground si poa. And while it might seem weird to you, there're pple who when they get news, good or bad, their 1st contact is someone on this app/met on here. And I think that's beautiful

Don't ever be ashamed to bring your pain, fears, joy, struggles to this app for any external reason but especially if this is the only safe refuge you have access to. Let not those who walk in comfortable shoes tell you that the nail in yours really isn't sharp.

Day 25 pain free,its been 2 years since i had such a break from pain. When you live with chronic pain& then have such good days it means the world to me.

With restrictions being eased, we urge everyone to consider those who are still clinically extremely vulnerable (like people with #lupus) and those who aren't protected by the vaccine.

I often fake being well rather than fake being sick. I can't tell you how many times I flash a big smile while my insides feel like Armageddon. That's just part of living with #Lupus or Chronic Illness.

I think something in our collective conscious snapped during the pandemic. I don’t know what, exactly. It made some people better and some people worse, at least as a subjective determination, but it means I keep feeling like people I once understood are unrecognizable to me now.

this is why taking intentional rest from my work plagues me with enough guilt because I’m thinking I need to take advantage of good health days that allow me to work and plan before lupus forces me to rest. 😔
