@sheep_142

Sheep pass their days in gentle, unhurried rhythms — grazing, drifting, settling, then grazing once more. Thinking is not required. Are you a sheep?

@RupertLowe10 Grok can provide 2 way voice translation between English and 145 languages (it claims). This is essentially at almost 0 cost. What is the problem with allowing better communication?

I see some faceless Labour MP is attacking Restore Britain for our strategy of banning foreign language translation in the public sector. Personally, I love the policy.. I do not believe providing GP appointments in Urdu is a good use of British taxpayer money. Do you?

@DanielJHannan Hastings Banda. Malawi. Stood down after losing the first free elections in 30 years in 1994. Standing down after losing a free election, doesn’t mean you weren’t a dictator. More examples are available. You should study some history.

If the predictions are borne out and Viktor Orbán is out, can we agree that he was not a dictator? Dictators do not step aside after free elections.

Someone is going to need to help me with this. When the Iranians were blockading the Strait of Hormuz that was bad, but now the US are doing it, it's good. What am I missing? Can someone from America explain the geopolitical strategy here? Or is someone just long on oil?

@RazerWithAKnee Good for you. You clearly had some money to do that and houses were max 3x the annual salary. Now they're 9x the annual salary and most people are paying well over half their monthly pay on rent. You had it better. End of story.

Elon says Grok will be at Opus 4.6 level by June.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

@techdevnotes It will take until May to be close to Opus 4.6 and June to match and maybe exceed. Short time by normal standards, but long time in the AI arena.

Russia is a threat to the United Kingdom but it can see how feeble and incapable Starmer’s pathetic government is.  Britain must take direct action against these ships and deal with Russia's utterly disgraceful violations.  telegraph.co.uk/politics/2026/…

This man is a joke. Frantically scuttling away from his holiday in Spain - in the middle of local elections - to the Middle East desperate to insert himself into the story as a ‘peacemaker,’ and appear relevant to the outcome. He’s in for a shock ⁦ spectator.com/article/keir-s…

@YTJustGetATesla @TeslaXplored They have designed a 2 seat taxi and are now trying to turn it into a car they can sell. Should have made a small 4/5 seater car to sell and turned that into a taxi later.

@TeslaXplored The regulatory barrier is real, and it’s massive. But Nobody wants to buy a 2 seat car with terrible ergonomics. More likely is “What ramp?”

Everyone said CyberCab would NEVER have a steering wheel. I kept saying the opposite. Tesla has no choice but to offer BOTH — with and without. Why? Because regulators, edge cases, and human psychology aren’t ready to fully let go yet. But here’s the real twist… The “with steering wheel” version isn’t the product — it’s just the transition. Give it a few years… and the option disappears. Bookmark this. 👀 $tsla

@ArmchairAdml @FUDdaily Trump knows EVERY asset in the western hemisphere, who controls what, who needs replacing or breaking. Y’all are so focused over there, you have no clue about the massive realignment over here. It’s his ultimate focus. Unreliable partners are banished. The UK is unreliable.

There’s a common misconception that the UK would be unable to defend the Falklands against an Argentinian invasion. Bollocks! The argument I'm seeing is that the Royal Navy is not, shall we say, in ideal shape, and therefore Britain couldn’t mount a successful defence. However, unlike 1982, it’s highly unlikely that the situation would even escalate to the point of needing a full naval task force. Argentina’s current military capabilities are extremely limited. Their Air Force has just 40 combat aircraft — including 23 ageing A-4 Skyhawks and only 6 F-16s — supported by a mere two KC-130 tankers. Their Navy consists of three small destroyers (around 3,600 tonnes each), two reportedly inactive submarines, and a handful of patrol vessels. These numbers alone make a successful invasion highly unlikely. The Falklands lie roughly 340 miles from the Argentine mainland, and any attempt at a surprise attack would be almost impossible to achieve or conceal. The existing Typhoon detachment on the islands would be reinforced by additional Typhoons, F-35s, and tankers before they'd even left the ground. In short, the idea that Britain could not defend the Falklands is nonsense — because Argentina lacks anything close to the capability needed to invade them in the first place.

@ArmchairAdml You listed what Argentina has, but what can the UK bring to the fight TODAY if Argentina pulled the trigger? How many destroyers could the UK field in 2 days? 1 week? 1 month? Are their carriers deployable?
