@CincyAmyK Hi @CincyAmyK ... the Science Lab was sunsetted as a separate entity five years back and now convenings are held under the MozFest umbrella. Was there something in particular you were looking to do?

I mentioned in a reply to my tweet last night that @bhuvanakotees1 inspired me in her work with and for others. Well this is a great example of how. Join in if you can!

@MarleyBlonsky Flying along a long flat trail with the sun on my face, wind in my hair, and my favorite playlist in my ears. It's practically euphoric

For a piece I'm writing - When do you feel most joyful on a bike? (Flying down a hill, riding with your family, etc.) Would love any and all stories!!

@DaphneMPenn @Elle68401613 This is such a thing. A random blood test at 35yo showed my blood sugars were high. Doc said I was a Type 2 diabetic & "lose 20 lbs, you'll be fine." Turns out I was Type 1 and no amount of weight loss would've helped. Could've died if I didn't go get a second opinion.

Medical gaslighting is real. For two weeks, I’ve experienced numbness and tingling on my left side. It became so frightening that I went to the ER. They tried to convince me that I was just stressed and anxious. The nurse suggested that it could be radiation from cellphone use.

Keeping the ball rolling on my giving by looking at some cash donations. 💵 Quick note to orgs seeking donations, along with causes I look for the following:
* Any matching opportunities you have available
 * Your donation efficiency (what % of my $ goes to what use) 5/6

The Readiatrician- not here anymore
I said goodbye to a patient a few years ago. She didn’t die, she just got old. I treat patients to age 21 and they move on. When they do, I joke, “well, I did my job! I kept you alive until adulthood!” With this kid, it was not a joke. 1/
