🔥🚨DEVELOPING: JP Morgan executive is being accused of turning an married Indian man that she hired into her personal sex slave that she drugged, forced to have intercorse with her while making him take viagra as she threatened to take his job from him if he didn’t comply. When the alleged victim said no, she allegedly told him: "If you don't f*k me soon, I'm going to ruin you. Never forget, I f*king own you." Additional alleged remarks: "You really think management wants some Indian boy leading organizations?" “If you don’t have sex with me tonight, I’m going to sabotage your promotion.” “I bet your little Asian fish-head wife doesn’t have these cannons.” If these allegations are true they should be met with the same scrutiny as if the roles were reversed.

Go full steam on Solar. CEB might have highly serious challenges in finding crude or even deisel at record prices. Cut a deal with China and get a load of storage devices asap. We produce 25%our elec supply from solar. We can increase this- big time .Allow free wheeling
Qasem Al-Ali@AlaliQasem

Cumulative storage lost from Hormuz closure: End of April → 1.2 billion bbls End of May → 1.59 billion bbls End of June → 1.98 billion bbls This is 4x larger than any supply outage in history. There is no playbook for this.

“If we were ruling, we could have spoken to friendly world leaders and arranged for oil. These people are not experienced and have no such connections,” Sujeewa Senasinghe criticised the government, citing a lack of knowledge to run the country and warning that a crisis is impending due to government inaction.

In last week’s COPF meeting on BOI regulations, I pointed out this clear contradiction: For a $60 million investment, services get a 6-year tax holiday, while manufacturing gets only 5 years. Manufacturing must also employ 250 locals, compared to just 100 for services. This is completely contradictory to the NPP’s “Production Economy” promise in their manifesto. Why give better incentives to services than to actual manufacturing inside the same zone? #BOI #PortCity #ProductionEconomy #PolicyContradiction #SriLanka

The Artemis II crew reported seeing multiple impact flashes on the Moon. Astronauts described a bit of giddiness in the cabin after spotting at least four quick flashes on the near side of the Moon, mostly on or south of the equator. They confirmed the flashes were real meteor impacts, not sun glint from the spacecraft. Mission control mentioned to the crew that citizen scientists on Earth were also watching for the same flashes, and the crew’s observations on the near side mean ground observers likely saw them too. @Im_amila If someone’s installing panels and only feeding a battery and then consuming from that stored battery, the solution should be tax free. I don’t see a flip side to the CEB or the grid with that

@UmeshMoramudali @munza14 Increasing taxes is the lazy solution. The Gov needs to expand the tax paying base and include everyone, that’s the gap … cash over x should be a no etc. else you’re just throwing %’s in the air …

I would suggest to have 40% tax rate for top 1% income earners in Sri Lanka. It’s a small price to pay for stability, continuous improvement of infrastructure and for energy transition. For the record, most of tax money goes to T Bill and T bond holders. Not much to IMF

President Trump gives Iran exactly 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz, or he will blow up all of their power plants in the country. If a country’s power plants were destroyed, the effects would be immediate. Most areas would lose electricity, and water systems would fail as pumps and treatment facilities shut down. Hospitals and emergency services would be strained since backup generators only last so long. Food supplies would also be disrupted as refrigeration and transportation break down. The economy would begin to shut down, and daily life would quickly deteriorate, especially in major cities.

There are too many signs that the Government is prepping for a demonetisation drive by scrapping the Rs 5,000 note. It'd play very well with the public, and bring the UNP's and SLPP's backers to their knees (including temples). JVP's wealth is in gold; they'd emerge fine.
