i'm so mad that someone as artistically transformative as michael jackson remains so elusive creatively. the media reduced him to spectacle instead of documenting the mind behind the art & now so much of that feels permanently lost. there will never be another artist like him

realizing i’ve been making art as a means to escape. but then i started working on my self, and life got better. now there’s nothing to run from any more.
then it felt like i had no reason to create.
but now i rediscovered creating from enjoyment rather than escapism.

athletes & artists approach their craft with dedication, love, and discipline.
both require mastering fundamentals, both require practice.
