@iainoverton @SangitaMyska He is only venting his frustration and reflecting how most of us feel. It’s called heckling and members of parliament exhibit the same behaviour every day in the HoC.

@Clive_Hiley @RupertLowe10 Perhaps if their leaders were not so corrupt, some of the millions of pounds of foreign aid might actually provide help where it’s needed. Rather than sponge off our welfare state, these people should seek change in their own countries.

I want Serco to know that any efforts to house illegals in Great Yarmouth will be met with as much lawful resistance as I and every single county councillor in the constituency can generate. Don’t bother. It is not worth your time or money. Great Yarmouth is Restore Britain.

14-year-old German boy Jermaine B. was murdered and nearly decapitated by a Palestinian asylum seeker earlier this month. The 37-year-old rejected asylum seeker had lived in Germany since around 2021 under a temporary “Duldung” (tolerated stay) status after his asylum claim was rejected, partly because his identity and nationality documents were unclear, making it impossible to deport him. He had prior convictions for property damage and illegal residence. Jermaine went missing on May 2nd. His body was found 3 days later in an abandoned building near Memmingen train station. The suspect was found hiding in a cupboard in the same building. When discovered, he attacked officers with a knife, fled and was later confronted outside an indoor swimming pool. He again lunged at police with a knife and officers shot him multiple times. He died in the hospital. Police are now investigating whether the officers’ use of lethal force was justified.

One of the saddest emailed I’ve received (& I’ve true horror stories too) was from a mum of a sporty 11yr old girl. A weak headmaster decided to run an ‘inclusive’ school sports day. Because one 9yr old boy thought he was a girl. So No categories. Just age races. Not one little girl won a race. The little girl said to her mum .. ‘why should I bother mum?’ This is what we’re telling our girls..

Why was Keir Starmer so afraid of the Unite the Kingdom march? The real test for any government is whether it can apply the same standard to dissent it dislikes as to dissent it finds convenient. On Saturday, that standard looked painfully absent. spectator.com/article/much-o…

So ministers are campaigning to win a seat they already had, for a candidate that wants to replace the PM that they have full confidence in and claim is going nowhere. And we are meant to pretend this is all perfectly normal.

Does anybody from the Kingstanding area of Birmingham recognise this fella? He stole a lion statue from the front of my nans house at 8:45pm on Friday. It's more than just a lion statue though, as it was bought by my late grandad who sadly passed in January. Any information about this bloke is appreciated. Please share, repost, anything you can to push the post and get him recognised and get the statue returned. #Birmingham #theft #stolen #crime #police

Meet Dr Keith Wolverton, a genial British GP working in urgent care. During a consultation at a walk-in centre in Staffordshire, he asked a Muslim woman to remove her niqab because he had difficulty hearing her explain her young daughter’s symptoms. He cited issues with her English and the need to see her mouth movements for clear communication and proper diagnosis. She initially refused on religious grounds but eventually complied. After her daughter received treatment and recovered, the thankless woman filed a complained that she felt “victimised and racially discriminated against.” CONSEQUENCES: A Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service hearing found the doctor guilty of misconduct. He was initially suspended for 9 months. In 2026, Dr Wolverton was struck off the medical register (effectively sacked/banned from practising). All because he was concerned about the health of a child.

@bphillipsonMP @EHChalus Breakfast clubs are not free. They’re funded by us hard working tax payers. I got my kids up, fed and ready for school as a responsible parent. We don’t want a Nanny State. I’m voting @reformparty_uk.

With Reform UK, it's always about 'looking after our own' until it comes to feeding children. Labour is providing over 6,400 children across Kent County Council with free breakfast clubs. Reform UK literally want to take the food from their mouths. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

I wasn’t there in London yesterday. My body wouldn’t allow it anymore. So I watched it from a chair at home, a war pensioner staring at a screen, watching thousands march streets I once marched in uniform. And honestly… part of me wished I was there. Just to stand amongst ordinary British people again without feeling like loving your country has somehow become something shameful. Before the march had even begun they’d already made their minds up about them. Called them divisive. Dangerous. Extremists. Yet what I saw on that screen looked nothing like the picture being painted before the rally had even begun. I saw veterans. Families carrying Union Jacks. Working people. Pensioners. Young lads singing in the streets. Ordinary faces the media stopped understanding years ago. The police barriers stretched across London, creating sterile zones through the heart of the city, yet beyond them the streets felt alive again. You could feel it even through a screen. Flags moving like waves beneath grey skies. Crowds packed beneath the shadow of Parliament. Big Ben standing over it all like Britain itself was silently watching. And amongst all the chants, speeches and noise, one moment stayed with me more than any other. The prayer. For a few seconds the shouting disappeared and something older seemed to hang in the air above London. Not politics. Not parties. Something deeper than that. That’s what people are really fighting for. The feeling that the country they grew up loving is slowly slipping away while they’re told not to notice. The strange thing was they didn’t look angry to me. They looked united. Hopeful even. Like people remembering they were not alone. And sitting there watching it all unfold, I realised something. A nation rarely dies dramatically. It fades slowly when its own people become afraid to defend it. But yesterday proved something important. The old spirit is not dead yet. Not while thousands still march beneath the flag. Not while veterans still care about this country. Not while ordinary people still refuse to give up on Britain. And watching from home, I realised I was witnessing something deeper. People trying to hold onto a country they feel slowly slipping away.
