okay i agree with this and love that tubi is free but we used to have planned ad breaks. they were chosen to happen at certain parts of the tv show or movie.. now they can happen randomly in the middle of a sentence and THAT is what makes them so annoying to me it's jarring

This may shock some of you, but we weren’t all horribly bored in the pre-phone world. If your attention span hasn’t been shattered by short-form videos, the smallest things can be deeply fascinating. Because we had less entertainment, we were stronger, healthier, happier.

If I could hit a button that took me back to a time before 9/11, iPhones, and social media, I’d press it. I was happier with Blockbuster Video, $1 gas, dial-up internet, and a $5 minimum wage that could still buy things. Life was happier.
