We can all say walk Arraez in the 9th. But there’s also something to be said for showing confidence in your player to let them take on that battle. Robert’s has been great with letting pitchers try to finish innings. Way better than years past. Not going to win every battle. But it does tell the player/pitcher “I believe in you” and that’s a boost that will help long term.
