Here are the notes of what we covered: Visualizing Zero-Knowledge Proofs(ZKPs): 3 Simple Mental Models, you don't need a PhD in cryptography to understand ZKPs. Proof System Mechanics: How primary inputs, auxiliary inputs (witnesses), and extractors satisfy ZK guarantees. ZK-SNARK Fundamentals: Understanding the 3 Pillars (completeness, knowledge soundness, and statistical zero-knowledge guarantees) of ZK Security. Quoting this because it really resonated with me. About a month ago, I entered the Zcash ecosystem without really knowing where to start. I remember listening to Dismad talk about Zebra, and that was my first glimpse into the infrastructure behind Zcash. Not long after, I decided to help LOWO with @NozyWallet. That eventually led me to running the very Zebra node Dismad had been talking about. Looking back, even the bugs we ran into ended up being part of the fun because I was learning something new every day. What has kept me here isn't just the technology, it's the people. Listening to people like @shieldedmark, @dismad8, @LadaleLowo, @zksquirrel, @vitozkp, @FortuneSznDev, @thedrekal, @theKroyX, @CQ_Elzz, @michael2xl, @am_ochuko, and everyone else at @ZecHub answer questions, share knowledge, and genuinely help newcomers has made all the difference. Every week isn't just another protocol update. It's another opportunity to learn directly from the people building the ecosystem. I've explored a few ecosystems before, but I honestly haven't experienced this level of accessibility and willingness to help newcomers anywhere else. That's a big part of why I'm still building on @Zcash. 🛡️

Been thinking about yesterday's Engineer Office Hour with @shieldedmark. It's been a while since we had one, and I genuinely missed these sessions. They're always a great opportunity to learn directly from people building and working on the protocol. I asked: "If someone wanted to build more applications on @Zcash, what's one protocol concept you think developers often overlook but should understand early?"
