Let me even bother to explain why this is false. Nobody raised a brow over the signing of Sneijder, Ozil and Fabregas.
1.Sneijder
Nobody raised a brow about this. It was actually a fault on Madrid to have sold him because Sneijder was in his prime. Madrid needed to make space to accommodate Kaka, Alonso, Ronaldo and Benzema. The right person to have been sold was Van der Vaart. Nobody understood why Sneijder was sold. It was literally a steal for Inter. He was 25 years old.
2. Ozil
Ozil came off the back of a good season at Bremen and an excellent World Cup in South Africa where he registered 3 assists and 1 goal. He value shot up and he was highly received in Madrid. He was 21 years old.
3. Fabregas
Barca had been chasing Fabregas for a while and making public claim aboit his love for the team and how he is one of them, to the ire of Arsene Wenger. During their World Cup trophy celebration, Puyol and Pique forced a Barca jersey on Fabregas. This got Wenger angry and he found it disrespectful, and he informed Barca that in every sphere of human relationship, there is an acceptable code of conduct and you don't breach that. His eventual move to Barca a year later was not surprising to anybody. He was going home and he was well received. He was 24.
Bernado Silva is not that guy. He is 31, which means he still has like 3 years in him. But he is not the Modric or Kroos people are expecting him to be. You overrate him because he played in EPL and for City. He is not even a David Silva. I reserve a right to question the signing as a lover of football. Good luck to Madrid.

@Wizarab10 People asked the same question when Mourinho wanted Sneijder, Özil and Fabregas. Managers see things fans don’t.

@ChiefOdds @Wizarab10 I never intended to cook him, my idolo 😭

I dont understand this transfer. What does Mourinho need him for?

There was a period in Real Madrid when other big European clubs parked their buses at the entrance of Real Madrid’s gate, figuratively, waiting for players who’re free or cheaper to be nicked.
They studied the situations of Real Madrid players so keenly that they got the best footballers from there. Think of how a Wesley Sneidjer ended up as an Inter Milan great or how Arjen Robben ended up becoming a star at Bayern Munich.
There was a season Napoli signed Jose Callejon, Raul Albiol and Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid. Real Madrid fed clubs, but these days, clubs feed Real Madrid.
I call them Masters of the Free. They are experts at observing developing contract situations, and they are so good at it. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibou Konate, Rudiger. Real Madrid got these guys on a free. That’s nearly half a billion or more than half a billion Euros in transfer fees saved.
Think of Kylian Mbappe and you’re talking another €200-300m saved in transfer fees there too. It’s insane if you think about it.
Bernardo Silva brings so much quality into that team, and they’ve just proven again how patterns shift gently and gradually, yet they still sort of remain the same.
Where they don’t get top footballers for free, they get them at really good fees. Think of Toni Kroos or Camavinga.
Real Madrid have always been experts at these deals.
That’s what the biggest name and history in the sport gives you. Prestige.

@shiesty_7 @MadridXtra @diarioas 😂😂😂😂The defence had more holes than a fishing net but somehow Mbappé was the culprit according to some fans.
English

🚨 JUST IN: José Mourinho and Real Madrid's preferred defensive targets:
1. Joško Gvardiol
2. Riccardo Calafiori
3. Nico Schlotterbeck

English

@RasputinUTD @MadridXtra @diarioas One defensive mistake???
Madrid’s whole season were defensive mistakes.
Mourinho’s priority has been the defenders, yet there are people that will try to make you feel like Mbappe has been the problem, meanwhile your defenders have been cane 🦯 legs for the past 2 seasons.
English

@MadridXtra @diarioas Mourinho saw one defensive mistake and responded by trying to sign every defender in Europe 💀
