We welcome the end of the week long Seaway strike & the resumption of trade through this critical maritime artery. As we work to get ships moving again, let’s not lose sight of the need to prevent future economic disruptions & to ensure the stability of our maritime supply chains

The Seaway strike needs to be resolved. There is too much at stake for the Canadian economy and Canadians overall for this work stoppage to continue beyond today.

We urge gov't to immediately intervene to prevent more disruption to 🇨🇦's supply chains and limit impact on Canadians. The St. Lawrence Seaway employs 66K+ and yields $34M daily. Halting operations will damage our economy, escalating costs and inflation.bit.ly/3SrV0Gv
