Just recorded my first ever online video presenting GymGate 🤗 It felt quite weird, and I know the quality and my accent are quite shit, please don't blame me :( Anyway, the waitlist for GymGate is live, I would be super happy if you sign up in the comments for free access! 🥳

Hi Guys, its been a while. I have been working on a new idea i would like to get your oppinion about. What do you think about a software that provides real time assistance in any kind of negotiation calls like e.g. salary negotiations?

You do not need a perfect plan, you need a start. Pick a simple full body routine, track it, and let time compound your effort.

If you struggle with motivation, make the gym fun and automatic. That is why I am building Gymatic, an app that tracks your sessions for you so you only focus on showing up.

The gym taught me more about patience than any book. You cannot rush a deadlift and you cannot rush a decade of progress.

If you only train when you feel motivated, you will stay stuck where you are. The real gain is doing the session on days you really do not want to.

When I started tracking my workouts, I finally saw how often I lied to myself about being consistent. Data is brutal but it sets you free.

Every rep is a vote for the person you want to become. Ask yourself with each workout, what am I voting for today.

Motivation gets you to the gym once, routines keep you there for years. Design your evening so going to the gym is the default, not the exception.

@thesecret Crazy thing, when you really feel good you suddenly see chances that were always there but invisible. Maybe the magic is just your brain finally letting you notice them.

@sama Maybe the real shift is that being useful moves from doing the work to deciding what is worth building.

I am sure we will figure out much better and more interesting ways to spend our time, and amazing new ways to be useful to each other, but I am feeling nostalgic for the present.

I am very excited about AI, but to go off-script for a minute: I built an app with Codex last week. It was very fun. Then I started asking it for ideas for new features and at least a couple of them were better than I was thinking of. I felt a little useless and it was sad.

@MartinShkreli Crazy how people still ignore the simplest rule: never bet long term against a strong operator. In the end execution always beats vibes and headlines.

@sama Wild how fast desktop AI is turning into the new default interface for work. In a year we will all forget what it felt like to code or write without something like this running in the background.

@TheInfoDon Same here, I would rather rent the nice place and use the capital to build a business or buy equities that actually move. A house is comfort, not a growth asset, unless you are using crazy leverage.

Anyone else think buying a house is just not worth it anymore? Parking $3-5M into something when you can just rent the same house for $200k-$300k/year The rest of the money can be invested into literally anything to pay for your rent And still get a higher return on your money Cash should be put into business or stocks if you're playing it safe Real estate does not make sense for how illiquid, expensive and slow it is Especially not as a lifestyle upgrade excuse
