It's #WorldGinDay and I’d like to give a nod to Inverclyde’s very own @shipyardgin. I was pleased to highlight their successes to Secretary of State @IanMurrayMP, and to see what support our Government can provide as Shipyard expand their distribution.

Is this the future of alcohol advertising? The Scottish Government are having a consultation on banning alcohol advertising and promotion. This will mean the death of a flourishing craft drinks industry in Scotland. Shipyard Gin and many others would be no more.
