A small decision in Mumbai… that became part of a legendary journey. When Shri Anand Bakshi was starting out in films, he bought a modest 1964 Fiat, refusing to be rushed, even if it meant paying more. In a city where a Fiat was almost a symbol of making it, this one became his quiet companion. From those early days in Mumbai to 650 films and 3500 songs, he always believed this car was lucky. अपनी यार है फ़ियट कार, बाकी सब कारे बेकार।

A 9-year-old who lost her father. A teenager who ran away for love. A mother who returned with nothing but courage. And a woman who built one of the greatest musical legacies India has ever seen. Asha Bhosle didn’t just sing songs—she lived them. Through every loss, every comeback, her voice never stopped. And now, it will echo forever in every note we remember her by. #RIPAshaBhosle #IndianMusic #LegendarySinger #BollywoodMusic #Inspiration [RIP Asha Bhosle, Indian Music Legend, Bollywood Playback Singer, Grammy Nominated Artist, Asha Tai Tribute]

All government and semi-government offices in Mumbai will remain closed today, August 19, 2025, following a red alert issued by the India Meteorological Department for extremely heavy rainfall in the city and suburbs. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, in its capacity as the District Disaster Management Authority, has announced the holiday in view of the continuous downpour. Essential services, however, will remain operational. Private offices and establishments have been advised to instruct employees to work from home and avoid unnecessary travel: BMC

In the quiet, rocky mountains of Ladakh, something magical happens. A mother cat and her two cubs move across the barren land, almost invisible in their natural home. Tufted ears, a short black tail, and fur that blends perfectly with the rocks—this wild cat is one of the rarest creatures to spot in Ladakh. Most people go their whole lives without seeing one. These elusive cats live in high places like Changthang, Tso-Kar Basin, Hemis National Park, and Nubra Valley. When they appear, it’s a reminder of how wild and beautiful nature can be. Can you guess which mysterious cat this is? Captured beautifully by Mr. Brown Bear (caramjeet on IG), Wildlife & Nature Photographer #Ladakh #Wildlife #WildlifePhotography #WildlifeConservation

Would you quit a ₹30L job to save a seed? No applause and no profits, just a quiet revolution to protect India’s roots. That’s exactly what Darlapudi Ravi did. A former Assistant GM in the cement industry, he walked away from corporate life to preserve India’s vanishing native seeds—3,600+ traditional varieties of rice, millets, pulses, and vegetables. Here’s what makes his mission a game-changer: ✔️Saves nutrient-rich, climate-resilient native crops ✔️Supports 300+ farmers to grow traditional varieties ✔️Revives seeds that fight lifestyle diseases ✔️Promotes zero-chemical, organic farming ✔️Protects India’s food diversity for future generations “Saving a seed is saving a culture, a cuisine, and a cure," says Darlapudi Ravi. Would you choose legacy over luxury? #SeedRevolution #OrganicIndia #TraditionalFarming #FoodSecurity #IndigenousSeeds

Protect Our Children's Health – Sign the Petition! 🚨 forms.gle/tPG1K8Ab6mEKRj… Children can’t fight for their health—but we can! 🛑 Let’s stand together to demand safer 5G norms for our little ones. Sign & share this petition today! ✍️👶 The Government of India is set to introduce Revised 5G Radiation Norms from February 1, 2025— but are we ready for the risks? Public health experts warn of potential dangers, including long-term effects on children, increased cyber security threats, and harm to the environment. We are calling on the Hon’ble Ministry of Communications and other relevant authorities to postpone the implementation of these norms until a thorough, independent review is conducted. Our children’s safety must come first. Why should you sign? - Protect children from potential health hazards of unchecked radiation - Demand thorough scientific evaluation before implementation - Ensure a safer, more responsible approach to 5G expansion - Every signature counts in this fight for a safer future! Join the movement, sign the petition, and share it widely. Read the full petition: drive.google.com/file/d/1xxZce7… Together, we can ensure a safer, healthier future for our children. Let’s take action before it’s too late!
