А внутри у ей — Ардуина! habr.com/ru/companies/r…

Got Yamaha YIS503III KUVT2 from a friend. This is a MSX2 machine that has been made by Yamaha for USSR's education program sometime mid-80s. This one needs some cleanup and maintenance, but it is upgraded, has 1MB RAM, PS/2 keyboard, and HDD board. With JCUKEN keyboard layout!

Yoigi AIO is a "portable multimedia center" from 2010. It can run NES and Sega Genesis games, but it severely lacks buttons, and is not really up to speed. However, it can run Sunplus SPG games. The launcher and some screens themed to a Russian CGI animation "Belka and Strelka".

Q18 Games Console is your regular vanilla portable Famiclone. Has a traditional design, although not sure if it mimicks something. It has a couple of funny things, tho: "Extreme Game Boy" text on the box, and menu available in Spanish and Russian, with badly translated titles.

Also, prepared 2D layouts using FreeCAD's TechDraw bench to pass them along with a set of 3D-printed flat pieces to my friend who offered his help with the metal parts. Yes, metal parts. Actually can't wait to see how it going to look like in its true form.

Tested out the fuzzy skin feature with the outer frame. I don't plan to keep the printed look, but if someone will re-create this project, it helps to make it pretty. It'll be open source and Arduino-compatible, so you won't need MIK32. Also, found a RU-made piezo to go in there.

Mounted a perfboard, switches, USB Type C charge port, the speaker, and a couple tact buttons. This is a test assembly, materials going to change eventually, but as it is an one-off DIY project, frame and perfboard will remain there, only the outside shell will get replaced.

More work on the MIK32-driven G&W-alike. Improved the internal frame, re-printed it, added the nuts. I'm trying to keep the thing reasonably thin, and there is not much room, so I used use a regular nut as a fused one. The frame had a couple quirks, but now I think it is done.

Bad Apple running on the RISC-V based MIK32 Amur, the only consumer grade MCU that is produced in Russia, including silicon die and packaging. Demo uses 128x64 OLED and mono chiptune, because firmware upload times are crazy slow on this chip at the moment. youtube.com/watch?v=pOADRY…
