@2dthings I see LOTM, EPIC, HSR, Genshin, PTN (udah gak main, sadly), and a mention of Greek myths! TMI: Aku udah nonton LOTM tapi belum kesampaian lanjut baca novelnya—but I found out that one of my favourite characters dies later on in the webnovel. Makin enggan untuk lanjut baca.

Dan yang gue maksud di sini adalah diskusi tentang the Greek myth itself and not just “Greek myth-related”. And as much as I love EPIC, I would also hold the same sentiment if someone actually thinks whatever happens in EPIC is "accurate".

Gotta accept the fact that some things aren't meant for everyone. Including me. Some books, or anything in any media, will always have their own target audience and some of them may not even be me so what I'm going to do is move on and search for another shoes that fits my feet.

@inacadia Aside from that, many of Dostoyevsky's books are still in my TBR (Notes from the Underground, The Idiot, Crime and Punishment—apa lagi ya…), tapi kalau dari sinopsisnya—dan pengalaman baca beberapa buku beliau, aku rasa aku bakal suka sih. Karakternya selalu menarik soalnya.

@inacadia Alyosha is such a relatable character for many people indeed, though I lean more towards Ivan's characters. Some of my thoughts and beliefs differ from him, but the general sentiment (?) towards religions and the existence of God is a bit similar in some ways.

@shisihba OMG SAME!! but i didn't grow up very religious even tho i was also familiar with the theology. for me characters like alexei are very interesting, since they kind of made me experience the spiritual journey i never had and made me reframe the things i was taught
