It's 'Fixer Uppie' time! We're looking for an @UplandMe property to buy, build up & then give away to a player in the community. @MetaverseMillen @SparkLord69 What do you think? Should we buy this Granada Hills prop?

32.5% of the 2026 UFL season is now in the record books. While all eyes should be on the gridiron, they’re distracted by the glaringly obvious attendance crisis. For the second straight week, the @UFLKings were in an overtime game. The first one triggered a massive internet uproar when it ended on defensive penalties. The league pivoted fast: @RepoleStable and @DeanBlandino went public with a fix. Blandino even cut a short video that ran at the top of Thursday night’s NFL Network broadcast explaining the new overtime rules that kick in Week 4. Fast-forward to Thursday. The @UFLGamblers and @UFLKings left regulation tied at 22-22. Voila — an instant, live test of the freshly minted rules. This time the Louisville Kings came out on top, scoring the only successful 2-point overtime conversion in three attempts by each team. But the headlines weren’t about the game. They were about the sea of empty seats at Shell Energy Stadium. Official tickets distributed: 4,880. Social media consensus is a 90% no-show rate. The most common comment: “Less than a thousand people in the building — including everyone on the field. ”Everyone on God’s green earth knows Texas loves football. Where was Texas on Thursday Night? The UFL tried $2 cans of 12-oz lite beer and $10 school tickets… but scheduled the game on a school night with a 10:00 p.m. CDT estimated completion time. The really sad part? Senior Vice President of Ticketing Derek Beeman spent nearly 19 years with the Houston Texans in this exact market before the UFL hired him. If he has zero feel for the Houston/Texas football market, that may explain why he left the Texans. Keeping him in that role after this would be mind-boggling. Mike Repole took to social media and accepted responsibility for some poor marketing execution — classy move. But the common denominators driving the attendance collapse are Brooke Campbell, Derek Beeman, and Ryan Segers. If I were Repole and the other owners, I’d be on the phone with Jason Gonella today negotiating his immediate return to the UFL. The on-the-ground leadership in Houston and Frisco has shown open disregard for fans actually showing up. The lone bright spot in Texas is Senior Ticketing Director Sean Nicklesen. I’ll bet the May 15 game at Fort Hood will post the highest actual attendance of any UFL game in the state this season — precisely because those three “leaders” have zero influence on that market. It is a first come first serve seating environment for people that have access to the US Army base The gameday giveaway for the first 5,000 fans is a “Hats off to Heroes” branded hat. Further more, those same three geniuses haven’t done a single thing to reach former San Antonio Brahmas fans and ticket holders — the closest market to Fort Hood. What a way to keep disengaging your best customers. The league has also done nothing to help non military fans get advance access-pass information for Fort Hood. Texas deserves better. The UFL deserves better. Time to fix it.

@scottbaileysabj UFL is going to fail, and all of San Antonio will be laughing about it. I hope they don't come back in 2028, or ever. Don't want 'em, don't need 'em. They abandoned us, don't come running back.

The decision by new UFL ownership to abandon San Antonio looks worse every week. The Orlando Storm, one of the league’s new markets, is drawing fewer fans on average than the 1-9 Brahmas did last season. The league’s other two markets may also end up filling fewer seats.

Do you think the UFL/Mike Repole regret removing the San Antonio Brahmas and Michigan Panthers from the league ?

Dr Drew absolutely loses it over the Hantavirus hype !! ‘It’s not a respiratory virus. Stop it. Stop it now….its been around a long time’ One has a greater chance of being struck by lightening. We are not doing this again.
