A lot of people are defending their in-theater phone use by saying they get bored during long movies. I get that. But here's the thing — boredom is a part of life. Movie theaters are shared spaces. You aren't entitled to distract other people from the art because you're bored.

I hate using the world cult to talk about a Trump Rally because I think it’s usually always an embellishment. With that said, if in 2015 I told Republicans that this would be a rally for their leading candidate in 2024, and that candidate was already president once, lost re-election and now has 74 felony counts against him, including a few under the Espionage Act, I’m pretty sure those Republicans would call this a cult. Tell me I’m wrong.

It is wild to me that we have been socialized to be like, "yeah you're bleeding vaginally and it's causing cascading issues throughout your body but there is literally no excuse for you to NOT come into the office, and frankly it's weird that you asked"
