I think I have an issue for a 12U game having two videographers on the field filming the trot and what appears to be a camera on brim of helmet. Whatever this is - it’s more about content than baseball.
I am all for letting kids get excited. There is a way to celebrate and have fun without certain antics. A bat spike in the box would be such. Travel ball has seemed to over inflate egos of parents and players. Many are in for a rude awakening as the talent pyramid tightens at the top.
Only 3% of HS players will even get to the opportunity to play at any collegiate level, so don’t eliminate yourself from opportunity before talent level does it for you.
The coaches and parents who allow this to go on are the problem. Instead of teaching kids how to play the game the right way and show respect for the opponent they’re worried about getting viral attention. Embarrassing.

@SleeperDbacks Honestly he needs to play left field. Blaze can play utility infielder. Lawlar needs everyday play time. Torey won’t though. Torey will give him 6 at bats a week and wonder why he never improves. What a waste.
Jose Ramirez breaks silence on signing below market extension from Guardians;
(Translation by Master Flip)
That was ultimately my decision, to take the extension. We went through a year and a half of negotiations, and when I finally signed, I got a significant salary bump. I knew it wasn’t fully reflective of my market value, and plenty of people made sure to point that out. But I’m a veteran, I understand how the game works.
Cleveland is a small market team, and they simply can’t pay me what I could command on the open market. So I told them, Let’s find a fair agreement that works for both sides.
I spoke directly with the GM. There were real trade discussions and offers from other teams willing to extend me at my full asking price, but my heart was set on staying in Cleveland. First and foremost, my children were born here. My wife feels comfortable in Cleveland and so do I. I owe this city a lot.
Since the day I arrived, I’ve never once been booed by these fans. I’ve seen how crowds in other stadiums treat players when results don’t come quickly, and that’s never happened here.

No, I already blamed the shooter in my previous post. This is never OK. This was clearly a horrible person. What I’m saying, though is that the National Guard didn’t need to be there. They are being used as a prop by Trump and now Trump will use this to continue to push this country in a decisive way.
It’s honestly sickening. These National Guard troops were only in Washington, DC because Trump fabricated a need for them. And now he’ll twist this tragedy into another excuse to flood American cities with even more military presence.
This never should’ve happened. Those troops were scattered across DC doing nothing but standing around and picking up trash, all on the taxpayers’ dime, because Trump wanted a political photo-op.
A couple British police officers showed up to a woman's house to seize her daughter's phone due to her viewing a social media post.
She was threatened with arrest if it wasn't handed over.

With Panthers needing to score multiple times, JG was/is content to rush 4, tackle and let them take 6-8 minutes off the clock. Frustrating to watch but makes sense.
