such a pleasure to have helped shape the brand behind @cesto_co
Huge congrats @jasonrodrigues @viralsangani_ 🎉 said it from day one, you’re building something truly special.

@jasonrodrigues countertrade x trends could be a @cesto_co basket 🤣
English

@shoolian absolutely, if anything on the contrary, value just went up
English

definitely my experience too:
“The conversations happening here are not representative of how design actually works, how businesses actually hire, or what clients actually value.
99.9% of what you read here on X is complete and utter bullshit.”

Thank you Jason!
I started with some of the references I already had saved elsewhere. Now I keep adding new ones I want to pin over time, mainly via Telegram or Discover. I could also run a large scrape and add thousands at once, but that would defeat the purpose of staying very familiar with all the collection.
English

@shoolian Brilliant, how do you get it to index initially? And then on an ongoing basis?

I built my dream video reference tool with Claude Code in 2 days.
For years I've been collecting cool videos across twitter bookmarks, browser favs, slack and telegram messages to myself, note apps, and whatnot.
None of it was searchable.
None of it was organized.
Most of it was lost.
So I took a weekend to build something for me ↓

English

So, recap:
- URL paste → auto-populated metadata + AI analysis
- 1–5 color-coded ratings (red to green)
- Filter by medium, era, tags, industry
- Drag-and-drop folder organization
- Keyboard navigation + hover autoplay
- Personal notes with auto-save
- Duplicate detection
- Multi-platform support
- Twitter video proxy (their embeds are blocked)
- AI-powered web + X discovery
- Auto-suggested discoveries
- Telegram bot for mobile capture
- Pin auth
- Next.js + Turso + Tailwind on Vercel
And doing this was tons of fun. Long on Claude Code for creative workflows.
English

This is my fav piece: the add-a-vid-from-anywhere part.
If I see a great video while not in my computer, I can send the URL to a Telegram bot. It queues up in the web app with metadata already fetched.
I can process the queue next time I'm on desktop.
The whole thing is deployed and PIN-protected. Single-user, but actually live, not just localhost.

@franklyteddy @claudeai hahah wow haven’t seen this! huuuge. if it works both ways (code to figma and figma back to code) you can keep design fidelity through figma, which isn’t trivial at mid/large scale. I’m assuming it does but I’ll test it soon. Already looks dope 🫡
