May we introduce you to our Vertical Production monitoring solutions! We’ve launched an on-set service so you can watch the camera feed in both native 16:9 landscape and 9:16 portrait formats, side by side, with a live SDI preview of how the shot will look on a mobile screen🖥️📱

examples 3-6. a few more examples of where having on-set 19:6 aspect ratio monitoring could be useful, such as commercials and live events that are being recorded natively in 16:9.

example 2. you can preview in real-time how a shot would look in portrait format on a mobile screen or app, such as Instagram or TikTok. In this example, the video feed is scaled and adjusted to match the correct size and proportions of the iPhone 16 screen.

example 1. the camera is recording natively in 16:9 format and connected to an SDI monitor in regular landscape mode. Alongside this you can preview live with the image spun 90° and presented in 9:16 format, with the monitor orientated in portrait mode.

@AdamRichman A lot of stolen camera equipment tends to appear for sale on sites like FB, ebay as the thefts are often unplanned and the thieves don’t know what they have or how to dispose of it.

@AdamRichman If it isn’t been mentioned already, there is a anti-fraud/theft group for rental houses where we post details of stolen camera equipment etc - xhire.org.uk - happy to share details of the stolen filming equipment if it might help.

Well - the entire crew of season two of #AdamRichmanEatsBritain has just been robbed. We were driving from Birmingham to London, stopped at a rest, stop in Barnet for exactly 4 1/2 minutes to use the restroom, and came back to our van completely cleaned out. All of the filming equipment is gone. Both of my suitcases with all of my possessions are gone. Backpack with my laptop and all of my medications are gone . And to make matters worse, because I have trackers on some of my possessions, and because of my laptop, I can see where these things are. But we have to wait here for the police. The rest stop won’t release the security footage until the police arrive. It’s been almost an hour. I’m going to share a few of the locations where I can see my possessions. Reward for anything found.
