If a player gets called for a technical, after a bad call, the team challenges it , if the call gets overturned, the technical foul should Also be rescended, because the technical foul wouldn't of happened if correct call was made in the first place.

Guess some people didn't like me calling out @billoram's hype article about Dame Lillard coming back to face the Spurs in my earlier tweet. I don't know Bill, never met him and don't have anything against him, he's been doing what he does and selling papers for a long time and he's there in Portland every day covering the team. But the fact remains. His claims that a source told him that Dame Lillard is “close” physically and that a return before the season ends is “not impossible” cannot be confirmed without an actual direct statement from the Blazers or Dame himself. Maybe his source was someone trying to sell tickets? I don't know. There has been all kinds of wild speculation. What I do know is that Portland did not include Lillard on the roster submitted to the NBA office before the Play-In tournament. I was told the reason for that was that he had been officially ruled out for the entire 2025-26 season to focus on his Achilles rehab for a 2026-27 comeback.  That fact certainly lines up with what Tiago Splitter- probably the single most credible source on whether Dame will be playing for his playoffs team- said when he was asked. So here is exactly what he said:
