🚨Danny Welbeck on why he did the “Siuuu” celebration:
🗣️ Welbeck: “I’ve scored against Liverpool… now Chelsea. Maybe I don’t score for Manchester United anymore, but I still bleed for the club. If what I do helps them reach the Champions League, I’m happy with that. Not every legend has to still be inside the building.”
“And yeah, the celebration… that’s Cristiano Ronaldo’s. I did it with meaning. I figured the United fans deserved to see a proper academy lad hit the Siuuu, instead of someone who forgot what a privilege it is to wear that shirt.”
“If Alejandro Garnacho wants to take it how he wants, that’s up to him… but some of us never forget where we come from or what that badge really means.” #mufc

@StretfordPaddck Intrigued how anyone can tell how much force there is in a push? Is there some kind of scale or gauge I’m not aware of? Clueless fuckers who can’t admit they were wrong.

🚨 The Premier League’s Key Match Incidents (KMI) Panel has ruled that both the referee and VAR were correct not to award a penalty to Amad against Bournemouth. #MUFC
It was noted that “while Truffert ran a risk, the contact made was not impactful and therefore fell below the high threshold for a foul.” [@DaleJohnsonBBC]
Make it make sense! 🤬

🎙️Adrian Durham: “Nick Woltemade, I am going to say this - is the worst signing in Premier League history.”
"This isn't anything against him, it isn't personal.”
"But £65-70million for one of those, and we've got to delve deeper.”

@FTBLsection So when Fergies son saw him we’d tried to sign him the year before? Hardly a twist.
English

In the summer of 2000, Ruud van Nistelrooy was all set to join Manchester United for a club record £18.5 million. Fans were excited, and a press conference was scheduled to introduce him. But things took a turn. Concerns about his knee fitness postponed the transfer, and PSV Eindhoven refused further medical tests. The next day, Van Nistelrooy suffered a major knee injury, sidelining him for a year.
Fast forward a year, and Van Nistelrooy finally signed a five-year contract with Manchester United after passing his medical. He brushed off the £19 million price tag, saying, "The price is not heavy for me – it lifts me up because it means United have big confidence in me."
The transfer had an interesting twist. Sir Alex Ferguson's son, Darren, who was at try-outs for Heerenveen, told his dad, "You've got to sign Van Nistelrooy right away, he's fantastic." Taking his son's advice, Ferguson sent scouts to PSV's next game and signed Van Nistelrooy the very next day.

@SwearingSport It’s because the sport itself is that shite they need to try and make it interesting……. And still fail.
English

@SwearingSport Keep calling it outrageous all you want. If this was in a woman’s match people would be taking the piss out of the goalkeeping!!! Garbage!
English

@FinishedPlayers So Ronaldo passed it 3 yards side ways whilst no mention for the lad who pinged it top bins from 25 yards? 🤣
English

@FinishedPlayers It’s because he crossed it and it went in as a sheer fluke! Simple really
