If you are going to change a foundational aspect of soccer such as the length of the halftime to make room for a show, you better put on the most amazing halftime show in the history of halftime shows, and not whatever slop FIFA was serving up. Just awful.

The Americanisation, the closing ceremony, starting the Final during the day almost killed the buzz the game normally has. Trying to turn it into a summer Super Bowl as another money making vehicle. It leaves a bad taste on what was actually a great World Cup in football terms.
