How was 2023 for us (@neend_app): Our voice-over artists are getting marriage proposals. Turns out people want a lifetime of peaceful nights. The family WhatsApp groups are experiencing a serious decline in late-night spam as folks are getting a good night’s sleep! Instead of sasta-nasha, people finally found better "Stuff". Our customers are complaining about the unwanted attention they are getting because of their increased beauty quotient. Nani and Dadi got a glow-up because they didn’t need to stress about creating a new story every day for the kids. But please don’t fact-check us, we wrote this in a sleep-deprived state.

Last time I received 1754 DM’s who wanted to be a part of the Neend Pyjama Party. 1754 people wanted to chill/relax for an evening. Huge, right? Wherever we go now, people keep asking when are we hosting the next one and if they can join. Following the massive success of that Pyjama Party, we thought of organizing a trip for a few days— A trip where you’d be pretty much “Bagwati” from ZNMD, being a part of the relaxing adventure and enjoying all the way. But this time here’s a catch, we are just short of 1.5 lakh sign-ups to our target for this year. If we cross the said number of sign-ups by this New Year’s, you have a Neend Pyjama Trip coming your way. Once we hit that milestone, we'll kick off the shortlisting process(out of people who signed up on the app). What can you expect on the trip— A Lot of surprises, fun, and Zzzzz. An effort and promise to make you feel sooooo relaxed that you will feel relaxed until next new year! 🤝 cc: @neend_app

Ever stepped out of a movie theater with a sense of regret? Did you buy a fitness/wellness plan that couldn't push you to the next level? Had a massage that failed to relax your muscles? Enrolled in a course that didn’t live up to its promises? All of this happened to me, and I was so frustrated that I wanted my money back. This thought stayed with me from very early on that if a service doesn’t live up to its promise, it simply doesn't deserve your hard-earned money. This is why at @neend_app, we firmly believe in the quality of our service. We're so confident in adding value to your sleep patterns that we're offering a FULL REFUND to anyone who doesn't find our app effective in the first 10 days of trial. No questions asked! 💸🔄 Tall claim?💡Here are a few data points: ~92% of the time it helps to fall asleep, the rest 8% is a mixed bag of feeling relaxed but not sleepy on extreme days. > 80% of the time customers fall within 12 mins. Thousands of customers have reduced or completely stopped using sleep pills Why don’t you or someone in the family/friends who have been facing sleep issues, give it a try? What has been your best/worst experience with services with/without a money-back guarantee?

Just realized that an average paid Neend customer opens the app 25 times a month. That's an incredible level of dedication towards ensuring quality sleep! 🙏

Have you heard about a CRM/excel sheet for matchmaking? Well, my family made it, and we used to have weekly status calls at some point. I have gone through a rigorous process of finding my guy. Many folks around are going through similar issues, and hence I am sharing my story and learnings here. Hopefully, it helps some of them. During the process, I met ~100 guys (not to boast anything but to highlight the intensity) over 2.5 years. Some rejected me, and some I rejected (nothing to be taken personally). 1. It’s a decision that needs to be made beyond temporary pain, happiness, and priorities. It’s a decision for the rest of your life (50-70 years). Listen to your gut feeling (no matter what the world is telling you, but if your gut says NO, it’s a NO). I happened to save myself from the BIGGEST MISTAKE by trusting my Instinct (a specific story for another day). There were a few instances where some guys had undisclosed relationships, marriages, or divorces. I'm open-minded, and honesty is crucial to me. I may have been okay with these situations if there had been transparency. On the other hand, some were looking for a trophy partner and expected me to give up my career, which wasn't something I could agree with. Things were not very explicit, but I'm grateful that I trusted my instincts and said NO to those situations. GIRLS & BOYS, this learning is the biggest: listen to your heart and brain both simultaneously, and you will be able to understand if something is missing, something is wrong, and things just don’t add up. 2. DON'T GIVE UP. There will be a lot of external pressure and misery, but remember - all that is temporary. Your family would be happy if you make the right decision eventually and are happy yourself. In general, the split of time spent with a partner (or direct consequences of it being right/wrong), most likely it’s 90% you and 10% your family in the long run (may vary in different cases). So should be the stake in decision making. You are PRIMARY decision-makers; you have to be a little selfish here. I was about to turn 30, and it was damn difficult for my parents sitting in a small village in Rajasthan. People taunted them every day, and they used to cry in isolation. The pressure almost broke me at some point; I had my breakdowns in front of my friends who also felt helpless. But I didn’t want it to be a business-like decision, so I kept meeting people and kept putting in the effort but didn’t say YES until I felt like it. 3. You need to figure out yourself -your values, your sense of life, and what qualities would attract you. In my case, the family had their own criteria (similar background, nearby region), and I had my own (education, new-age thinking, and many more). The rishta(s) they brought in, I found them too traditional. The ones I shared with them, they didn’t feel comfortable with. It was a tug of war in terms of where to settle. They were understanding throughout the process, and that’s all I needed. In the process, I also made many mistakes with many of my preconceived notions. I didn’t know what I was looking for in the beginning. I was not even ready for marriage. It took me some time to figure all these out. 4. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. It’s not easy for most of us, no matter where we are in life professionally, financially, emotionally. There will always be something or other that would be less. People will make you feel worse (unintentionally); you will feel really bad for yourself. But still, you can’t GIVE UP. You have to don your confidence hat and crack this piece of life. Hard to believe, but an IIT degree, high confidence/boldness, a higher salary, and being entrepreneurial were also reasons among a few others for rejection. --- I am not saying I found a perfect partner (and it’s not about that), but I found someone with whom I can share my good, bad, and boring times, and who makes me laugh and happy no matter how life is, and that’s enough for this lifetime. Happy 2 years of growing together @shobhitic 💕😍🥳
