@CarrieCnh12 The opening titles came first, when I wrote the pilot script. Not sure I formally thought of 104 as a callback though I like the idea. Described it more as a spiritual explosion.

The song originally scripted for this scene was Patti Smith's DANCING BAREFOOT. We couldn't afford it. Our wonderful Music Supervisor Michael Hill suggested some alts... THE CURE! LUAMEL rocked the hell out of the song while also looking cool as ****. #pachinko #appletvplus

In a very early structuring of this episode, this scene between Hansu and Isak came at the end of episode 103. It was Dani Gorin's brilliant note to try moving it to the top of 104. Seems so obvious now. #pachinko #appletvplus
