Recent Google Street View imagery reveals that @dost_pagasa 's Virac radar station has been abandoned since it's destruction by typhoon Goni in 2020. This is an unacceptable state for such important infrastructure in a major country like The Philippines.
While the Super Typhoon #OfelPH is currently ravaging the Cagayan Valley region, we are expecting yet another potential super typhoon that could make a landfall in Bicol, affecting South and Central Luzon, and some parts of Visayas. THIS IS AN ALARMING CLIMATE CRISIS.
