I’m a NO on moving forward on this bill. NO on kicking millions of Americans off their health care and closing rural hospitals and nursing homes in AZ. NO on permanent tax breaks for the rich on the backs of working people. NO on higher utility prices for everyone. NO on adding $4 trillion more in debt. Washington can and must do better than this for working people.

It’s 2AM on Sunday and I’m heading to the Capitol to FORCE a full reading of the Republicans’ 940-page bill. This bill will rip health care coverage away from 16 million people and cut food assistance. It’s sick. And we will not stand for it.

Once again, Trump's extremist Supreme Court is handing him even more power—enabling him to further infringe on our Constitution. The Fourteenth Amendment is clear: if you're born in America, you are a citizen. Trump is not a king above the law. This fight is far from over.

@tutormentorteam Me too. The tone here - and on social media in general- has changed so much. What I loved on Twitter was that there was this large group of educators who wanted more that just bashing people, they wanted to connect and learn from each other, share experiences. #NT2t

@shyj I don't plan on leaving Twitter unless I find a massive increase of people/conversations that fit my mission on other platforms. However, I'm frustrated by how my reach has been diluted.

For those who like to stay in touch, I do check Twitter (refuse to call it by its new name 🤣) every once in a while, but am more active on LinkedIn (Julie Szaj) and Instagram (shyj). I have really pulled back on social media though - the atmosphere is not one that I value #NT2t

@shyj I'll be 77 next week & started building a Twitter network in late 2000s. While I'm on other platforms, including Mastodon & Bluesky, I don't find the hashtag conversations around issues like #NT2t or #tutor/#mentor. Rebuilding is not an option.

After 10 years, our #NT2t has ended. I will infrequently check Twitter, but would love to stay connected if you would like on LinkedIn (Julie Szaj) or Instagram (shyj). Thank you to all who have enriched my life and helped me grow and learn.

@JeremyDBond I think it was unique to us - as far as I am aware. I loved that we were able to provide that connection for students. #NT2t

This was unique to #NT2t (I think?) and a great way to introduce teachers-to-be to online professional learning communities in general. We should feel proud of this service. #PD4uandme #EduChats
