Hey folks. It completely slipped my mind in the rundown, but I need to bring to attention a big change this set that's been a long time coming thanks to our engineers! We made a pretty big change to how surrendering works and how it affects army's. Here's how it works.
Now when you surrender, it no longer instantly ends combat/deletes the army. Instead, the army won't be removed until the end of the round. If combat is in progress, it will finish the combat. When you surrender you still take 99 damage and can exit the game, but this helps prevent using it to grief someone's high risk trait loss streak for example. This also means when you hit your 3* 5 cost and the player surrenders, the combat will still play out and you'll get to see that final round!
If you happen to notice it on PBE, that's what's going on. So keep that in mind as you test the game. If you happen to see a weird behavior let us know, but we've been testing it a while so it should be good to go, and a big improvement to the game long term!
