I am going to do 3 videos on Alex Robertson of Cardiff & Australia "Key Improvements" in our 6-months together starting with "Shooting Accuracy".
In our time together:
> 6 Goals from 36 Shots
> Accuracy on Target has risen 9% in 6-months
> Accuracy on Target has risen 23% in the last 2-months
How do Alex & I work together to get small marginal gains in something like "Shooting Accuracy":
> Timed "Runs Beyond" to be in on goal
> Working into a High xG Zone
> Attacking the Box Runs
With the "High xG Zone" model, it is not about restricting shots but about Alex analysing if he should be looking for players in better positions.
If you are a player, or an agent with players & are interested, I am looking for new clients to start working with for the 2026/27 season from July 📈

The issue isn't about impeding the goalie. The issue is every team in the league have had their goalies impeded by Arsenal players this season, and nothing was done about it. They allowed those grapples, pushes, shoves and thereby set a precedent on how corners and set pieces were to be officiated this season. Chalking a goal off for impeding the GK, after setting a precedent to the contrary, on the most important game of the run-in and thereby deciding the title and relegation is why people are angry.

As many Manchester United fans have pointed out, Arsenal won at Old Trafford with a goal from a corner that wasn’t disallowed after a review and a dozen replays. And then there’s the foul from Rice that arguably started before the arm on Raya. This impacts not only the title but potentially a relegation costing north of £100m. Zero consistency, zero need. Get. Rid.
