Brewing of my birthday Vimpto Sour has begun, with @poyntonblues

A very late start to a brew day, but here’s my entry attempt for @TheChivBrewClub April comp, a Table Beer (<3% ABV), so all about trying to build some ‘body’ into an otherwise thin malt bill. 🤞

Output from a double homebrew day. Hazy, 6.4% heavily hopped pale (“Doku Jinks”), and a 6% Amber IPA (“Jarhead”), about to get dry hopped for 3, before crash & keg.

Well, that’s me done! Malts & hops weighed out for my first ever double brewday tomorrow (today)! A west coast & then an east coast 6.5%’ers on the cards. Fun, given I use an all-in-one, so it’ll be to back-to-back from mash to transfer to fermenters. Long day expected!

Ugh. A Keg wash & sanitising evening in store. Upside - I’ve a Red IPA to put in one, and 2x 34 pints of beer to make & fill them with. Planning for an April ‘do’ already…
