Addressed the opening plenary of @UNCCD COP15. Highlighted that during the COP14 Presidency of India under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri @NarendraModi ji, India made significant progress in its commitment to restore 26 million hectares of degraded land by 2030.

Called on Côte d'Ivoire Prime Minister Mr Patrick Achi. PM Achi expressed appreciation for India's contributions during its Presidency of COP14 in arresting climate change & desertification. He urged India to share its experiences and human resource in combating desertification.

Landed in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire to attend UNCCD (United Nations Convention on Combating Desertification) COP15. Despite the pandemic, India as president of @UNCCD COP14 contributed significantly to bringing nations together for halting further land degradation.
