This speech will go down as one of the greatest speeches. @Schwarzenegger is right—Jan 6th 2021 was our Kristallnacht. Austria 🇦🇹 tried to resist Hilter takeover for years but succumbed because Hitler’s lies went unchallenged. We must #impeach now.

If we had decided decades ago that all elevators must have paid attendants pressing the buttons for people, do you think that job would be a job that is valuable to society and provides dignity to the individual? I think many would argue yes, instead of questioning why it exists.

$2,000 stimulus checks should remain front and center until they pass - people are hurting all over the country.

@JoeBiden We need to provide relief to all families, not just working families. We need to provide relief to all Americans, not just all families. We need universal basic income. Now. UBI is how we invest in all of us to prevent the costs of poverty and create customers for businesses.

The bottom line is we need to provide immediate relief for working families and businesses. Now.

Also, the phrase "earn a living" should be tossed in the trashbin of history and burned in dragonfire. WE ARE ALL EQUALLY WORTHY OF EXISTENCE. Our right to life is inherent, and never to be earned from anyone. Withholding what we need to live "unless…" is immoral and unjust.

Don't you dare start with this "all work is inherently valuable" nonsense. Some jobs we should want to obliterate entirely, and lots of work not even recognized as work should be better enabled and supported. Unconditional basic income is how to accomplish both of those goals.

I enjoy connecting people who can help each other.

Impeachment is about accountability, not unity. The unity comes after accountability, deep reconciliation, and hard work, not before. Reminds me exactly why we say no justice, no peace.

Our president is not above the law. Justice serves the people — it doesn’t protect the powerful.

Let’s be very clear. The officials urging for no serious consequences after Wednesday’s attack on our country - including the impeachment, removal, expulsion, and/or indictment of officials who aided, abetted, or incited the attack - are opening the door for it to happen again.

From the most inequitable economic and jobs crisis in modern history, my jobs team will help us build back better with an economy that works for all Americans. Let’s get to work.

I've long talked about basic income as not left or right but forward, but I think that element of it is now more important than ever. It's critical that Congress display true bipartisanship in big ways ASAP. We need supermajority bills. $2k/mo is something we need + can agree on.
