Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan refuses media questions over NEET-UG paper leak row

The cancellation of #NEET‑UG 2026 following reports of paper leak is a severe blow to the sacred trust students repose in our examination system.
When the sanctity of examinations is compromised, it is not just a lapse—it is a betrayal of lakhs of aspirants who studied with discipline, sacrificed comforts, and devoted sleepless nights to their preparation.
This is not the first time #NEET papers have been leaked. The leaks deepen cynicism, heighten anxiety, and jeopardize the careers of hardworking students who expect fairness.
As a nation, we cannot gamble with the destiny of our youth—the future of India. The time has come to reestablish integrity in the examination process. Accountability must be swiftly fixed to restore students’ trust.
The system must reassure every student that their sweat and perseverance will never be undermined again by lapses.

Losing #ArunJaitley was not only a big loss to the BJP
But a bigger loss to the country
He could still have been the Finance Minister.
Imagine how different things would have been

@TheNavroopSingh America is squeezing India to death by artificially creating shortage. And our political leaders have no clue.

This explains PM’s sudden request ! Likely American side has conveyed to India it will not renew Russian Oil sanctions waiver which expires on 16th May. Making energy even more scarce for India !
If thats the case then country should brace for mandates than voluntary measures ! It would be one epic disaster if India gives up on Russian Oil & Energy due to fear of American sanctions.
US is anyway using Section 301 investigation on Trade Barriers against as leverage to extract concessions in a final trade deal. Its part of the negotiations for which American delegation will be in India this week to finalise the deal.
Keep watching the space on these two things in next few days to a week !

@Zakka_Jacob One day mosha will say buying anything from the free market is a sin.
All buying from govt ration stores. Then this f*ing godi media will rejoice that decision as well

@REDBOXINDIA Means exactly the opposite, the economy and currency is in free-fall and no one can prevent India becoming another Venezuela

@VishalBhargava5 All politicians and bureaucrats are million times more corrupt compared to the time when Anna Hazare protested.

@niraj_shah 1A has specifically bought this channel to praise mahamanav.
And now, none of its senior editors can speak sense.
If Indian currency was the worst performing prior to 2014, they would have dragged MMS name through dirt, but now keep praising 56 irrespective of outcomes

Some people are criticising PM Modi's message from yesterday.
Well, simple math will tell you that the country is dealing with a fuel-cost issue. The bills aren't favourable, for the country.
So what does the PM do - tell people to do things which can help reduce those bills - travel local, use public transport when and where feasible, buy local things, etc . What is wrong in that?
This is an appeal, not a gun to your head. Do it if you think you can, and if you can take some hit (to finances and to preferences) for a short while. It will help the country, and in turn help you.

I had met @narendramodi back in 2013. As a 25 year old with a radical idea which everyone else would reject in seconds saying ‘India mein cycle kaun chalayega?’, he patiently listened, asked sensible questions on how it would work and took a decision in under 2 minutes.
I was naturally impressed to see a receptive, open-minded person who gave me a patient listening.
I went ahead and launched the service while he went on to become the Prime Minister. I was hoping, him being in the centre would bring about policies to encourage public transport and cycling.
Instead all we got over the last 12 years was car centric infrastructure such as flyovers, random one-off metro in tier 2&3 cities that serve no purpose, crores of subsidies towards
EV adoption (private vehicles) and c₹&₹)(@ cities! And now today, he is appealing to the world to reduce consumption of petrol and diesel.
Even after getting 2 decisive mandates with such majority, you sir couldn’t muster courage to do the right thing.
I still don’t see any option other than @BJP4India at the centre. The only way to get things done now is constructive criticism irrespective of the government in power. But I can’t help share my sincere disappointment in you.

@sandeep_PT They are absolutely incompetent, but are able to survive due to brainwashing of citizens.
All anyone is concerned about is Hindu Muslim rhetoric, progress of the country is the last thing anyone cares about

Extraordinary times.
The PM is himself calling for massive demand destruction via individual austerity across a spectrum of economic actions.
Reason is the country cannot earn enough dollars to sustain basic consumer economic processes, without putting the rupee in peril.
The loop of demand destruction will intensify further and deeper. How will you revive that, once all demand is gone?
Iran isn't slowing. Will not surrender. Hormuz isn't opening anytime soon. What are our secondary plans? What were they anyway all along?
Do we realize the kind of pain we are about to launch via such drastic austerity measures?
This is PM's 13th year in power. So much should have happened by now. So much. India should have - could have - been a real AI power by now.
Anyway. Instead of punishing hundreds of millions, can the PM not think of imposing a Super-rich tax on top 1 % wealthiest Indians? Tax their wealth heavily, and create a support fund for the bottom 50% of India?
You are all powerful. Can do anything. Unstoppable.
BTW, ideally, before Modi made these drastic announcements, he should have first taken the Parliament into confidence, and a long, thorough discussion should have happened across Party lines. But nothing at all. One way decisions. Sudden shocks. Expectation of deshbhakti from everyone.
One-upmanship.
I am still trying to wrap my head around the strangeness unfolding around us.
Geopolitically, we are firmly in the Israeli-American camp, even as Iran rises as a regional hegemon in the middle-eastern region. Our loyalties are publicly with the Zionists.
Wrong choices will have generational effects. And strange unanticipated consequences.
All comments welcome.

@REDBOXINDIA After 56 is gone, India will be in the same state of shambles and economic ruin that the British gave independent India.
All wealth with 2A and corrupt politicians and bureaucracy. While the rest of India goes mad with radical Hindu Muslim rhetoric and loses focus on progress

@REDBOXINDIA 56 will invoke the first financial emergency of India.
