Since 2000, 15 different franchises have won a World Series. 22 different franchises have made the World Series. 28 have reached an LCS. There are 6 NBA franchises that have never made an NBA Finals and 4 of the franchises that have won titles haven’t won a title in over 40 yrs

One of the reasons #MLB is pushing for a salary cap was best articulated by a quote this week by LeBron James @KingJames when referring to the #NBA "There's been eight straight years of different champions," James said. "So everyone feels coming into the season, thinking, 'This could be our year.' Every fanbase feels like this could be our year as well." #MLB wants this

The strikeouts are incredible but it is the innings pitched. Chris has so many less innings pitched than any of the top career K leaders which shows his dominance. 27th Sale 2702 Ks in 2,189 innings 26th Tanana 2,773 Ks in 4,188 innings 25th Cy Young 2,803 Ks in 7,356 innings
Grant McAuley@grantmcauley

#Braves Chris Sale just became only the 27th pitcher in MLB history to reach 2,700 strikeouts in a career. He's closing in Frank Tanana (2,773) and Cy Young (2,803) on the all-time list. Passing Young would put Sale into the Top 25 strikeout pitchers of all-time.

Ramon Marquez is a prospect pitcher I’ll be watching closely for the rest of 2026. He’s been arguably the best arm in Philly’s org, with a 2.02 ERA, 40.4% K%, & .149 BAA. Changeup is absolutely lethal to hitters. #RingTheBell

‘27 OF Nate Kaminski (IL) showed well on both sides of the ball. Burner in the OF & solid contact ability w/ pop out of the leadoff spot. #BattleWC @ChicagoELITE18u

I’ve always loved baseball prospect rankings. Following young talent is one of my favorite parts of the sport. But one thing about today’s rankings has really started to bother me… 🧵

Not a ton of players advance to AAA in only 159 milb games. Age is a thing when the players are seeing the same levels over again & seeing the same pitchers. It is a lazy take when the player was drafted at 23. Not to mention Owen is a C which tends to take a lil longer as well.
Todd ⚾️🐻🦌@CubsCentral08

Owen Ayers, 25, is now at AAA. For those you that were obsessed with his age the past year, he is now younger the average player at AAA. Just stop obsessing. Let him play.

Owen Ayers is on the brink of the major leagues 👀 The Cubs prospect is hitting .315/.427/.634 with 22 home runs and was recently promoted to Triple-A. Ayers ranks No. 5 in Chicago's system. buff.ly/wBonrHU

Assume all 3 of these prospects have a $100 base autograph (they’re close) Rainiel Rodriguez, Edward Florentino, Theo Gillen You have to buy one, hold one, and sell one. Let’s hear your order.

@bjones7774 They were counting on Chase Meyer from West Virginia who is signing w the Cubs but we agree with you. Chase could have been their Friday night guy.

@sidsgraphs They've already assembled most of their position players from the portal and bullpen guys but still haven't signed one starter. Weird

ASU coaching staff is going to be working overtime trying to get enough talent from the portal to compete. Between the portal/draft/graduation there are a lot of needs with an ace being desperately needed.
DevilsDigest.com@DevilsDigest

ASU's double-digit draft selections figure surpassed last year's mark by one and was the most Sun Devil selections since 2012, and tied for third nationally among college programs this year. Here's the breakdown of those 2026 draftees on3.com/sites/asu-devi…
