@FA_PGMOL I’ve noticed that refs count players at the beginning of the match to make sure both sides have 11. Could the rules allow teams the start with 10 men to save the officials the embarrassment of the subjectivity of removing 10% of the upfield players from the other team, and us the fans the trauma of watching a player sent off for kicking a football.
@FA_PGMOL Technical red cards like the ones issued to Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice create match official subjectivity as there are just too many technicalities to manage. Officials are able to add up to 10 or more minutes at the end of a match for delays. I support red cards for violent conduct and unmanageable players, but not for refs who can’t manage. We pay a lot of money to watch equal contests. You’re are destroying football.
@realTrumpNewsX Will depend on performance. As consumers we are always looking for something better. Product promise and performance don’t always match. Yes IF…better more effective
@premierleague Subjective decision by your ref. Bad for your brand. Killed off match as a contest. Three points shared between Chris Kavanagh - 1 point - Brighton 1 - Point -Arsenal 1 - point. Man of the Match - Chris Kavanagh 👏👏👏👏
This “research” should have preceded name change. X is probably an improved product, while twitter is a stronger brand. Brand equity points from an innovation and breakthrough technology standpoint for twitter more pronounced than points earned by X thus far. In other words never sell the brand name Twitter.
@mailandguardian Social media has levelled the playing field. It’s worthwhile that your opinion has to rub shoulders with other opinions. Shouldn’t major media outlets purvey news without expressing an opinion? Thin line between news outlet OPINION and PROPAGANDA.
OPINION | Gayton must go if GNU is to be credible: The toxic xenophobic politics pushed by Gayton McKenzie and the Patriotic Alliance debases us all.

@acagamic Thanks. You will find lack of consensus right from number 1, with some saying the room is too hot others saying it’s too cold, and others saying there is no room.
Black people on average spend 30% more on luxury goods and brands than White people in the same income group. Why? Because wearing designer and luxury brands is necessary for affluent Blacks to gain respect and status in the White world🧵
@xTREAMx22@SemperFiArsenal Not having much to do is part of being good. Put any of us where Raya was, and we would have been quite busy either from poor distribution or decisions on back passes.
@TimModise “Us” should mean all of us. But does it? In practice “us” is highly fragmented into “us who are…”, or “us who are not…”. The “who are” and “who are not” each has its own, “as well as..”, also “being”, in addition to “liking..” etc. The “us” matters. It needs work.
@helenzille There need not be conflict between demanding equality and being in a position of need. Not sure if the argument about clean government is an endorsement of western rectitude? If it is this might be subject to a timeframe as slavery was only abolished in the 19th century.
I read in this morning's paper our Pres told the world Africa does not want to be treated as beggars, but as equals. If the West stopped the constant flow of aid, and measured us by their standards of clean and accountable govt, we would be cast out of the global community entirely.
@DZumaSambudla What was the question? I work in this field directly and I’m pretty certain the question was not who rules the roost. Before concluding it is advisable to examine sampling distribution .
@DZumaSambudla Such polls have a tendency to mislead due to their hypothetical nature. Younger voters who are in the majority may not necessarily have valid data on past leaders. Nostalgia also accounts for bias with for eg. some Americans thinking George Washington was the best leader.
