Unveiled today: a new logo and identity for the Social Democratic Alliance of Iceland @Samfylkingin. Currently the largest political party in Iceland the new identity realigns them with their sister parties in the Nordic countries who all employ the rose as their mark. 🌹

No one is going to have an answer for this I’m sure but what the hell — I want to make a bunch of Tailwind shirts that look like famous metal/hardcore band shirt designs, who should I talk to to redraw the Hatebreed logo to say “Tailwind CSS”? 😅

@romanshamin_en @jokull @svennnni @ortypeis I think these look much better, Roman and to be clear I’m not a type designer but as a designer I’d say it’s definitely an improvement and the family is looking quite good!

@siggiodds @jokull @svennnni @ortypeis Let’s consider these as release candidates. Siggi, Svenni, it’s ready for your comments. There’s no rush, now I’m switching to other glyphs for a few days, so take your time. Also, take a look at the other séríslenskur (I hope I’m using this correctly) glyphs on the next image.

Ð is done, ð is in progress. Is it me, or does it seem falling to the right a bit? Maybe I should bend its top to the left to balance the entire glyph. #buildinpublic #typedesign #fontsdesign #fontdesign

@romanshamin_en @jokull @svennnni I do think the right is better yes. Examples that come to mind are from my friends at @ortypeis — here are a couple of different solutions

@siggiodds @jokull @svennnni Does the x of the bowl on the right work better? Is it close to x-height enough? It’d help a lot if you know a font family where the ð is close to ideal.
