The submarine force served as a “bus” or transport, to carry those that really won the Cold War: The CTs of The Naval Security Group. Sorry, dude. But nothing more than an underwater Greyhound simply carrying CTs to and fro. Gotta go.

Those CTs had to be fed, cared for, and hidden from the crew to wreak Top Secret Comint Channels Only havoc, and magic on those

What does that work out to as an Hourly Wage? I don't believe in tipping to begin with, although I do it. However, my disagreement with tipping has more to do with owners and their miserly habits of starvation wages to restaurant help. Plus the equation to hourly ware.
