@Revolut Update: Opened a @Wise business account. Four hours later - fully active. I’ve been a loyal @Revolut customer since 2018. Would have loved to run my business account there too. Instead, they rejected me without explanation and forced me to look elsewhere

@Subliminal_o_O @Revolut @revolutsupport Can confirm. Licensed Swiss real estate brokerage, fully regulated and audited – rejected for "internal criteria" they refuse to disclose. Not even a real explanation. Just copy-paste customer service. The worst.

@akothari @NotionHQ Hey @akothari, the core issue is transparency. I'd be happy to use a lighter model instead of Opus 4.6 if it saves tokens. But right now there's no way to compare token consumption across models. Give us that visibility and the pricing conversation changes completely.

We spent a fair bit of time deliberating how to price @NotionHQ Custom Agents. We eventually landed on usage-based pricing, so you can pay for the work you get done. In this video, I explain our rationale in a bit more detail:

@DPulex83909 @akothari Token-based. You buy tokens, every task burns a certain amount. Problem: no transparency on which model uses how many tokens, and basic tasks already cost way too much. The concept is fine. The execution is a ripoff.

@NotionHQ I'm the kind of user who evangelizes tools I believe in. I was ready to push this across my whole org. But when simple tasks eat hundreds of tokens and you won't even show me what's happening under the hood? You lost me.

@NotionHQ @NotionHQ The new AI models are breaking page formatting when editing. Tables and callouts keep getting messed up. This wasn't happening before the update. Would really appreciate a fix! 🙏

One major issue with this is that professionals may avoid using AI editing tools entirely. Say you use an AI tool to remove the background and change your shirt color for a website profile photo. Your face is 100% real and unedited. But when someone scans your image with Gemini, they get a generic response saying "This image was AI-created." Now people might think you're a fake person, using someone else's photo, or being deceptive when really you just made minor edits. The solution is that Gemini needs to be more specific. The SynthID watermark is only embedded in the AI-generated elements (the background and shirt), not your face. So Gemini should either specify exactly what was AI-generated, like "AI elements detected in background and clothing, face appears unmodified," or recreate the image with highlights showing which parts contain the watermark, or provide a confidence breakdown by region. Without this nuance, the technology could actually harm people's credibility and discourage legitimate professional use of AI editing tools. The detection needs to match the sophistication of the technology itself.

Starting today, we’re making it easier for everyone to verify if an image was created or edited with Google AI with SynthID, our digital watermarking technology, right in @GeminiApp.

Exactly the kind of ecosystem @NotionHQ should aim to build. If they eventually launch a Slack competitor - fully integrated, context-aware, and AI-native - it could complete the missing piece of modern productivity. @ivanhzhao @akothari
Haider.@slow_developer

Sam Altman says Slack has many positives, but it creates endless fake work We need an AI-native productivity suite to replace docs, slides, email, and Slack Not add-on features, but trusted agents that handle work and only escalate when needed This finally feels within reach
