Most interesting part of this story to me is it’s the same board who 12 months later thought it was a good idea to sign a guy who’d twice been charged with beating his partner, once while she was pregnant

@NQRL1995 I think he was dropped for a lack of effort, whereas those three always had a lot of effort… but not enough talent.

Dropping Nanai is a defendable decision, but also completely at odds with Todd’s history He kept picking Hiku, Granville & Townsend for months after it was obvious to everyone there were better options available, yet he’s willing to drop a 22yo Origin player after round 1… 🤷‍♂️
