I chose @MIT @MITEngineering @MITChemE because others who were already here told me it was a place that supports developing beneficial technologies. Happy to be in this book, and to set it aside as a sort of time capsule to revisit in 5-10 years to see how we did.

@WoolstonLabNEU It really was great- more lively than a usual panel discussion, and having the participant who raised a question/topic seated in the circle allowed for more back-and-forth than if they were standing at a microphone.

This was a successful model for an event that I will bring back to the US professional societies I'm engaged with. It was called a "fishbowl" discussion where there were a circle of seasoned researchers and an open chair where any participant could sit and ask their questions.

Wonderful way to engage those who are new to a field (any career stage) and also early career researchers who may be trying something new that their lab hasn't done before.

On Friday, we start off early again with a fun discussion on the technical challenges regarding reactive oxygen species measurements with great experts answering all your questions. With Mike Davies @mann_ivel @Riemerlab @sikeslab and Clare Hawkins!
