The only real solution to break this deadly cycle is a legally guaranteed Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all crops — calculated properly (as per Swaminathan formula: 50% above comprehensive cost of production). This would provide fair, remunerative returns, pull farmers out of the debt trap, make farming sustainable, and encourage a shift away from water-intensive crops like paddy toward diversified, less thirsty alternatives — saving Punjab's depleting groundwater while securing livelihoods.

Regimental Maulvi Asim Munir has no moral compass.

@Sikhpioneers74 @manaman_chhina Established during the British Raj, it was restricted only to Jat Sikhs for soldiers, while officers in the Sikh Regiment are drawn from an "all-India, all-class" basis. The rule to include all Sikhs has unfortunately not yet been adopted.
